Oh. An update. I remember moving to the novel and just reading ahead while waiting. Glad to see this picked back up I guess, though wow this is really close to the start of the story huh.

Page 25 "That pressure and his tactical sense were remarkable." Yeah.

Man. This statement made me irritated when I recalled how at the apex of the conclusion of a war much later int he story, he basically attempted talk no jutsu mid-combat without properly securing the room and the escape routes and allowed the villain of the story to flee to the point where there is no confirmed corpse just leaving the door open to more conflict, while assuming he died because Nobody Could Survive A Fall This High Into The Ocean. And that's with plenty of opportunity to just take the guy down, either dead or disabled and captured. And this was after he had already resolved himself to killing the villain.

But outside of that annoyance. The story is generally satisfying, very sweet tasting due to the very open romance between the MC and the Heroine.
link to read the novel please?

Well, I also think the 3 prologue girls are pretty weak. It's mostly the teenagers that are dumb, characters are written their age. The series really speeds up after Kento speaks to the Princess the second time. Your assumption about the villain is incorrect.

The girl who summoned them all isn't the main villain. She's co-main heroine with Yuika and 4th harem member (Princess Camilla is), at least in the novel after Kento gives her a beating and tricks her into thinking she's his undead minion. She's the one who gets violently protective of Kento. And Kento is outright bossy when around her, playing into his Demon King persona. The main villain is an ugly bastard named Havre Calvine, him and Kento fight over the throne of Camilla's Kingdom.
thats fucking hilarious, also yea I somewhat had a feeling
the girl who summoned them would somehow become a member of the harem because she looks the type, also who's Yuika again? is it the saintess girl who is the school mate of MC? either way Camilla is pretty good but ngl I'm actually surprised he hasn't done anything with the cat girl, I legit thought she would be the first one to be with MC when I saw her
but yea either way the series needs better women LOL also that final boss like I said sounds hilarious

Yes Yuika Asakawa is the saint/chairman. 4th and 5th girls are pretty good.

So, regarding the original timeline.

I guess that original Welhelm also did something similar with Lisbeth like the reincarnated one did.

Except, he did it much later, and either kept lying until original Rudolph was killed, or somehow found the truth about the connection between Lisbeth & Rudolph and either stole the coin from Rudolph, or claimed that it was Rudolph who stole the coin from him.

As for original Rudolph, he probably learned that Lisbeth was the girl he met, and felt cheated & betrayed when she went to Welhelm, which might be the last line that eventually made Rudolph cross the line and become the Tyrant King. And because of misunderstanding that Welhelm created, Lisbeth ends up eventually killing Rudolph.

Or else, the whole story about original Rudolph being a Tyrant King was false to begin with.
It's possible that original Welhelm was the one who was the Tyrant King and stole Lisbeth from MC, and after killing him off, started to rewrite history with his own narrative of Rudolph being the Tyrant King, so that future generations would praise him as a Hero, while his bloodline remained at the highest position.

On another topic, really find it odd that people call a child/kid as Tyrant Prince because he was being a brat and feared him, but still didn't let a chance go to bully him.
I mean, if he is a Tyrant and a Prince (even if an illegitimate one), then people lower than his position should be fearful of him, not bully him.

lol yeah. you'd think he could boss around the soldiers to just lop their heads off and let his father deal with the aftermath...kinda like that 3rd trash~

This whole "standing up again and again after being beaten" is often overused trope, but in this case IMO it was nice.
And IMO it wasn't about MC pain tolerance from being abused/abusing him for no reason (it was wooden swords, and father in law was counterattacking from what i've seen)/testing his skills (they probably knew he had almost none).
MC could've declined, could've stopped along the way, could simply not get up. But FIL wanted to see his RESOLVE. Against all odds, against overwhelming enemy, when you are beaten and hurting. Dude is a honorable musclehead, from a family of warriors, and wants to know if his future son in law (and maybe house head) will be somone mentally strong that will keep fighting or a spoiled prince brat who will give up and cut losses (his wife? his people? his territory? his honor?).
Remember, we are talking about a marriage between prince (and rather low standing one in royal family pecking order) and high ranked noble. Some bruises, losing consciousness (from exhaustion IMO) is a low price for proving yourself and essentially winning support and protection of a strongest military force in the kingdom.
Him later revealed being a diamond in the rough is (IMO unnecessary) addition, would be even better if he didn't hit him in the end and just lost consciousness there. Him being accepted despite losing would make bigger impact.
