I think it's that while she possesses Suzuna body her core identity is from her previous life, so while she have Suzuna memories and have her body, she has to have a fundamental understanding of the skill not just a vague memory of doing it. Muscle memory is basically is about performing actions subconsciously and you don't store the data in your body aside from brain, and if a person identity is in short a sum of their memories and experiences. In short this sort of stories are something like swapping brains but adding recording of the previous host memories, therefore she has her previous body muscle memory not her current one, because it all stored in the brain. It would be different story if it the base personality was Suzuna with some random girl memories all of a sudden.
Well, there's a lot of processing that's done outside of the brain, of course. Still in the CNS, but in spinal cord rather than the brain itself. As a random example, when you adjust how you place your feet to account for the specifics of the terrain you're walking on, that's carried out in the spine rather than the brain.

...On the other hand, one could look at things from the perspective that the entirety of her current nervous system, or at least her CNS, is that of Mashiro rather than Suzuna, with the latter's declarative memories haphazardly thrown in.

Is she meant to be a bipolar bitch because of some supernatural game mechanic shenanigans or is this just obnoxious writing?
I genuinely don't get why she's so invested in this. She don't care about the guy, and he certainly can find food by himself.
Why does she even cares?
"Game became real" manga always suffer from the "If the story doesnt go like in the game the world is going to end" type autism
It makes absolutely no sense but serves as an easy justification for cheap drama I guess

It's all nice and good that she feels the world is set on the sister route, but now that this is her reality, is that... legal? Huh?

My understanding here is that she still has the memories of the original Suzuna in addition to her own memories from the previous life. So as a result of that, Shindou being her childhood friend is a part of her memories and thus she doesn’t want to just leave him completely out to dry. That, and it would inconvenience her if Shindou keeps bugging her every day, hence trying to hook him up with Konona’s route.

How can she lack the muscle memory to cook,

Screenshot_2025-04-24-19-59-18-39_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.jpg

but has the muscle memory to go to the guy's house?

This shit just dropped 2 points from the evaluation. Can't trust the author any more.

This also gives some credence to the hypothesis that the girl who committed suicide replaced the heroine and simply inherited her memories.

I feel betrayed. Putting it on hold since I lost interest. All the characters were getting annoying anyway.

Page 20 Riri is kind of hot.

The difference between Suzuna's thinking and Riri's thinking is pretty obvious in this chapter. It's like a manga illustration of how people put different social weights on what they do: Suzuna thought of sharing bentos with Kokona only the night before, but telling Riri about it doesn't come to mind for her. Meanwhile it's a big deal for Riri because she sees doing something like that without telling her to be noteworthy.

It's not like Suzuna hates Riri, it straight up never registers that she might take it the wrong way.

Perhaps of interest is how on page 26, in all speech bubbles except the very last one, whenever Suzuna refers to herself, Amatsuki Suzuna is added next to it in kanji-furigana. In the last speech bubble, when she refers to herself, it's Yukitsuki Mashiro. Obviously, a one-to-one mirroring of all that into english would have been incredibly clunky, so I had to make do with making her speak slightly more informally in the last speech bubble, and more formally in the rest, for those of you who noticed (if you did).

In the cooking panel on page 14, she refers to both girls in 3rd person by their names.

Amatsuki Suzuna also refers to herself as 私, in kanji, although not on this page (mostly in earlier chapters), and Yukitsuki Mashiro refers to herself as わたし, in hiragana. They sound the same, but in text are obviously slightly different, the latter being more informal. When talking to other characters, she always uses the latter. All in all, though, the whole thing's a bit of a mess, but the character you see on screen is a mix of both girls.

Look the more you try to reason out an isekai the less it’ll make sense.

Well at least here she has to make sure two unstable weirdos don’t hate her and annoy her further so it’s got something going there. Maybe. But yah still must make game be game is stupid. Like mf nothing is working same as is why do you assume it will.

You came in for a trashy isekai and then got isekai logic. What kind of Reddit level take is this. Man expecting Mozart at the maroon 5 concert.

Basically she feels guilty about taking away the guy's childhood friend. Even if he "should be cooking on his own," the fact remains that she basically still took that away just by virtue of incarnating into the world. Does it make 100% logical sense? Not really. It makes emotional sense for a hyper-self-aware introvert, though. It's the "I don't want to cause trouble for anyone" instinct.

Muscle memory and subconsciously knowing the route to someone's house are not even remotely the same thing. Consider the difference between fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Walking to someone's house involves a gentle guiding of your body with no specific movements that you have to make -- you can walk, skip, jump, amble, crawl, or whatever else you like towards a specific destination and independently think very little of the route you took to get there. Inversely, you must knead dough. You must chop vegetables. You must sauce the meat and fold the omelet, and those do involve very specific fine motor movements. That is muscle memory.
