I do hope nicole studies abroad, it seems like a really good opportunity for her and it is something she actually finds joy in.
Also very fun that keios never considered asking her about her hobbies or interests so he could talk to her about them, further empathizing just how fuxling dumb he is.
now mind, nicole is a quite dense aswell (no doubt she will spin his dislike of her going abroad into somehow being for carolines sake), but she has to somehow rationalize the actions keios takes so its a garbage in garbage out kinda deal

I pity the guy, I really do, but Nicole deserves so much better than to be tied down by him. Take the L, learn how to treat your partner better, become a better person, and take those lessons with you for next time.

I recognize that his romantic affection is genuine, but sometimes, people just aren't mature enough to be good partners, and that's part of life. Learning and growing from your mistakes is part of life, too, but Nicole shouldn't be subjected to his growing pains any longer than she has to.

I mean I do pity him but I don't want them to reconcile. Even if his excuse of being nervous around her was adequate to explain why he completely ignored her outside of obligations for years, which it isn't, this chapter is another example of him trying to make unilateral decisions for her solely out of selfish fear. If they were to ever reconcile, it can't realistically happen anytime soon, and she would hopefully find someone miles better while dorkwad figures out his own stupidity

I pity him, but bro, going from ignoring her to being possessive about her is NOT the move. Still voting for her moving and marrying on her own terms if ever. I know he's basically completely new to romance, but I hope he gets some good advice asap to not be so possessive or she's going to start hating him even more than when he just ignored her. If he's not able to learn and adapt and be a better partner ASAP, she doesn't owe being with him during his growing pains, and needs to break from him.

Unfortunately the manga is a shoujo where the audience are women sympathize to the heroine or have experienced similar issues like her. So all we feel towards Keios is the primal instinct to throw a book at his pretty face.
