BACKSTORY: When the world was younger, the year 1450, the Irish clan of Leinster, along with the clan of Sligo, unified the island in a shared opposition of the English. They fought the War of Irish Independence, which collided with the tail end of the One Hundred Years War and the later Gaelic War of Northumber. This shocking development lead to the collapse of the English. The French, Scots, and yes, Irish too, all picked at the corpse of the shattered England. Ireland created a puppet government in the region of Kernell, as well as establishing control over the Maanx. Scotland proclaimed themselves the nation of Prytainia, having seized much of the midlands and even as far as Anglia. France seized London and Dover, pushing their claim as rightful heirs of England. The English crown fled overseas, finding refuge in the unlikely nation of East Frisia.

When in East Frisia, the Saxons, seeking powerful claims and the prestige of the crown of England, committed to a royal marriage. This created the new nation of Saxonia... In their campaign to liberate the English nation, Saxony began mass conquest over smaller principalities. The War of the Danube lead to Bohemia and Austria's decommission at the hands of the Hungarian army. This allowed for Saxony to rise, near entirely unopposed, seizing Hannover by the year 1499.

RISE OF SAXONY; FALL OF FRANCE.

In the years following the fall of England and Austria, Saxony's rise was unparalleled throughout Europe... Except by one nation. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania, largely uncentralized and mismanaged, had unified with the Kingdom of Poland by the year 1490. Using their newfound power and influence, the Polish state pursued the now over-extended Hungarians and forced them to crown a Polish monarch as well.

Colliding as well with this rise was the fleeing of the Palaiologos after the Fall of Constantinople.

However, this would eventually lead to the queen of Poland, Helena Ivanovna.

When the Russians used this queen as an excuse to meddle, war broke out... And Poland Lithuania was victorious.

Muscovy became subjugated, and with it passed the title of Eastern Rome, now to Poland-Lithuania.

With ever increasing influence in the Balkans thanks to the annexation of Hungary, the Poles would engage in multiple campaigns (of varying success) against the Ottomans, coalescing in the Fifth Ottoman-Polish War in 1510, where the intervention of the Mamluks proved decisive in giving Poland a victory. The Mamluks annexed much of Asia Minor, with Poland occupying the Balkans. Their legitimacy as Eastern Rome had been fully backed by the force of arms.

Saxony, now effectively the Holy Roman Empire, declared a Crusade against the Poles, which unified the Germans into a single cohesive state, bar Swiss Cantons and Southern Germany. This would lead to the loss of Poland, with the Polish-Lithuanians, now Romans, being forced to relocate their capital to Theodosiopolis in the Balkans.

During the Crusade of Warsaw, Polish forces, with French aid, captured numerous Italian states, counteracting the German influence and effectively forcing the Holy Roman Empire out of Italy. The Papal States fell under French influence, with Poland-Lithuania taking regions like Lecce and Rimini.

In retaliation for their aiding of Poland, the Saxons would later declare war on France, which a beleaguered Poland could do nothing to help. The French state became subjugated by the Saxons, with the Scots capturing London and Dover.

Saxony had now established, in their own words, the legitimate Roman Empire.

Aragon, who had additionally helped Poland in the Crusade of Warsaw, had seized the rest of Southern Italy and had ALSO declared themselves successors of Rome.

The most pivotal war of our history as Eireans, however, was the War of the Scottish Succession.

After the death of the king of Scotland, the Saxons had tried to push their claim through the English crown on the entirety of the Scottish domain. The Irish clans, of course, were opposed. The Scottish local populace was overwhelmingly in favor of electing the Klanleader Muiris, from Eire, as their new king. The Saxons landed troops in East Anglia and North Umbria , hoping to enforce their claims, but the Battle of Leeds was a shocking Irish victory. This would force the Saxons to accept the union of the Scots crown into Eireann, officially forming Mhor Bhreatain.

The new nation, now a spectator to the conflict of the PoLithuRomans and the Saxons, sits anxiously as the balance of power can seemingly be decided by their action.

In this time, as well, the Eireans would establish colonies throughout the Haord Nua, founding the Kingdom of An Ríocht Nua Thuaidh, later called simply Arinatha.

The situation in Europe, of two battling powers, would continue relatively unimpeded for the next 100 years.

In this time, Eireann has become a financial hub, using their neutrality and stability to improve the lives of the people of Mhor Bhreatain, though fearful of a Saxon reprisal.

England loses 100 years war to combined French, Scottish, Irish coalition, is divided.

Holy Roman Empire is unified by Saxony, Poland subjugates Lithuania and Hungary earlier, is able to beat Muscovy, and claims to be the successor state to Byzantium. Conquers Ottomans with help from Mamluks.

Holy Roman Empire crusades against the Polish, causes a forever war over the claim of Rome.
They kill France in the initial fighting, and now it's Poland and Aragon vs Saxony and their puppet states throughout Central Europe. They all claim they're the successor to Rome. Ireland and Scotland crown union leads to a nativist Britain.

1748. The Lithuromanians and the Saxonians have been in a constant Stalemate, their battle of the continent of Eoraip has been ongoing for the last 80 years
would continue relatively unimpeded for the next 100 years
You describe 2 Different spans for the Titanic Cold war between " Lithuromanians " and "Saxonians " , however ; in the history You write that : " after the war of the Scottish succession - which happens in Mid 16 cc - the 2 powers remain locked in the conflict for the next 100 years. " , yet in Your Opening comment ; It's said This story is set in 1748 and They've been at a Stale-mate for the past 80 years - which would place the war's start around 1668 , meaning ; either the " Great confrontation " paused for Several decades before flaring up again , or You simply skipped half a century , and ; in a world where communications , Supply lines , & Dynastic claims evolve on a Predictable schedule , a 50 years slip creates confusion about what Actually happened when & where , which in turn ; Under-mines the Very Stale-mate You invoke as the setting.
However, this would eventually lead to the queen of Poland, Helena Ivanovna.
You introduce ? , helena ivanovna ; purportedly a Russian princess , as queen of this New union , spark a Russo-polish war resulting in muscovy's subjugation , however ; russia in the late 15 cc was only just emerging from Mongol suzerainty and that the idea that She could produce a Dynastic bride with the prestige to sit on a Now-unified Polish throne - and then be used as a Casus belli to overthrow Muscovy - is such a Radical departure from Logistical & Political reality that It reads less like a Plausible Alternate reality and more like a statement against being sequitur.
The Mamluks annexed much of Asia Minor
In OTL , Asia minor was the Core Heart-land of the Ataman beylik which , especially after 1453 , quickly consolidated power in Asia minor , moreover ; regarding the mamluks from egypt & syria , They've never gathered an invasion force capable of Sustained occupation that Far north , as Their Logistical lines couldn't have supported campaigns across rugged terrain while fending off Barbarians' Counter-attacks , that is to say : at best They might harass Some Coastal cities or border , but Full annexation - complete with retention of Supply networks , garrisons , taxation & administration - is Simply unrealistic.
Poland occupying the Balkans
Polish forces taking the balkans Out-right after the 5ᵗʰ Ottoman-polish war and moving Large armies over the carpathians & danube , through Hostile Mountain passes , and then not only stopping at that but conquering - & holding - territories as varied as serbia , bulgaria , & greece would have required a Logistical & Naval capability that no Central European state possessed in the Early 16 cc , and ; I don't say this to belittle You but even the Ataman empire , at It's Golden age , struggled to control the Remote High-lands , therefore ; Polish-based armies simply lack the Organizational infrastructure to accomplish that.
Theodosiopolis in the Balkans
There's no " Theodosiopolis " in the balkans , that is - Dear sir - Out-right False information.

Also It's important to note that Gaelic ireland's Social & Legal structures were distinct from the scots' , ergo ; there was no precedent for installing a Purely Irish Clan chief as the High king of scotland , especially when You add a Decisive victory on English soil - i.e./ the Battle of Leeds - rather than on Scottish territory. You repeatedly refer to " North umbria " as if It were the Historic Northern region of sexonia , however ; I must correct You as the the Medieval kingdom You may want to call is named " Northumbria " , because " Umbria " is in Central italy and not sexonia. Ireland in the 15 cc was fractured - and I don't mean just Politically , but linguistically & culturally , too - between Gaelic irish clans & Hiberno-norman lords , that is to say : even the concept of " the ireland " as a Political structure was Extremely loose , if not non-existent , ergo ; efforts to unify such a mess would have faced Extreme resistance from both Native clans & the established Anglo-norman settlers. I , nonetheless , thank You for sharing this creation of Thine with Us , and wish You a Pleasant day.

1. Just like in real life, wars have pauses. The 100 years war had a brief period of no combat.
2. Hellena Ivanova was a real person. The war between Muscovy and LITHUANIA actually happened, but in our timeline, Muscovy actually won. Here, because Poland was merged with Lithuania early, they won. She is still wed to the Polish king as she is IRL.
3. The Ottomans had, at this point, concentrated on the Balkans. They had taken out Serbia, Bulgaria, and the Byzantines, and IRL waged war against the Hungarians. It is not unrealistic that an early Ottomans could be coalitioned by Venice, super-Poland, and Mamluks, although unlikely.
4. Christian armies made it into the Balkans plenty of times against the Ottomans, the only reason why many failed to establish long-term authority was because of your aforementioned Ottoman stronghold of Asia Minor. This would be impossible to maintain if the Mamluks and Venetians were adequate in helping the Poles.
5. Theodosiopolis was the name of what is now called Barbaros in modern day Turkey. I imagine a recapturing of the Balkans would result in a restoration of old titles. So as to assert legitimacy.

6. The modernization of the Irish clan system into a more traditional feudal structure was the main catalyst of change for the scenario in Western Europe, as Leinster was able to unify the high chiefs under their banner and march against England. I assume the title would be kept, for ceremonial purposes, with the highest clan leader being called "High King", as it had been.
It's not a stretch for them to have modernized beyond their clan structure, especially under an especially strong claimant.
