Stuff like this bothers me so much. Like sure this lady is better than where she's coming from, but still the nonconsensual nature of it all just bothers me sooooooo much. Especially since she comes from an environment where she had no choices to begin with. Makes me mad on her behalf

She’s being held hostage by pretty wolf girl who grew a complex with pretty human girls because of a picture book she bought once. Amazing… Karina is in a pickle.

When I saw the raws, I assumed he received reports from the people in the house Karina is. Since at this point she is considered missing. I thought they’d assume she “succumbed to the elements” just like the assassins supposedly did.

As for the little sister, it could go either way:

1) She wants to take care of it because she’s fucking evil and wants to make sure Karina is dead because [insert mindwashing that made her think her older sister is shit]

2) She said to the prince she would take care of it because she does not want Karina to DIE. She wants her to stay away because it’s dangerous for her (we now know the Royal Family ACTIVELY wants her dead), so she’d probably arrange for Karina to get installed far away (maybe in another country, in secret) and she’d fake reports saying she died. What would the Prince ask for? Her head? So Aurora can just lie and not live with the guilt of having her sister killed. Specially if there is still an ounce of love for her sister in her now.

If she isn’t evil, I still won’t side with her until she KILLS THE BALDING PRINCE IN HIS SLEEP.

Also, really weird that the author decided to draw Aurora in a dress EXTREMELY similar to the one one in the picture book. Actually, that’s the spitting image of the book character.

I do wonder if Reshutoka will be disillusioned with Karina once she finds out she does NOT want to stay with her people and that right now she is just a regular human without nobility because she’s been exhiled. Wolfie could be super down bad tho. Have you seen Karina’s body? I’d marry her on the spot too and try to make hybrid children knowing it’d never work (but using “we don’t know yet” as an excuse to never stop trying).

Thanks for the upload!

I understand it's dangerous for Karina to go back, but it's completely unreasonable to demand she stays in the village full time. Reshutoka should escort her or something. Either way, I went into this understanding it has problematic elements.

I am so curious about what happened between Karina and her sister for Aurora to be so hostile, I want to see things from Aurora's POV.

What if the wolf tribe get tasked with disposing of Karina since they seem to trade and communicate with humans? That would be interesting, it would definitely speed up the conflict.

So many ways for the sister to go. Did she just grow up evil (that'd be a new one), BS'ing the prince to keep her sister safe, an evil isekai took over the sisters soul and is trying to fast track her perfect ending, a good isekai that wants her favourite character which happens to be her sister to escape the evil confines of the kingdom and specifically set her up to meet the wolf tribe.

So far in flashbacks Aurora seems like a clingy little sister, but that's the POV of Karina looking back. Aurora's POV of their situation might be different. She may be even protecting her sister from a bad marriage in her own way. Karina has been making best of a bad situation as it was. How seriously she takes this task on will be the tell likely.

Reshutoka has a better handle on the situation than Karina realizes I think. She plays it casual, but with her being interested in princesses as well as being in contact with humans she maybe already heard about what happened to Karina and was in the area to meet the "neighbors". Her mind went right to wifing her premeditatingly fast in retrospect.

Reading to others is a wonderful skill set to have and difficult to have the patience for. Reshutoka seems like she's not quite so silly as she comes off. Already married, wildly in love, and planning their future together. I wouldn't be surprised if she's already got adoption plans set up.

The storybook being very much like Karina's own situation, with a "monster" that craves her I wonder how much more we'll see of it.

Not sure why they want her assassinated so badly though. We'll have to keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, kinda doesn't make sense for her to have been starving on their first encounter when she's so strong. And especially this chapter seems to reveal that she knows more about Karina's situation that she lets on.

At least, I hope these foreshadows are meaningful, and not just the author shooting for cool scenes without considering what they could make the reader think. I'm honestly tired of getting disappointed in authors...

That would make my joke that Reshutoka turned into a cute little defenceless puppy on purpose when she saw Karina coming closer and closer to the truth.

I mean, we did see she can cause an avalanche… What guarantees us the howling and the big wolf we saw back in chapter 1 wasn’t Reshutoka trying to lure the new residents because “it’s a castle so a princess must live there” and it turned out a “princess” DID show up so she just pulled the wet dog act and kidnapped the bride??

It seems like a set up or a test, but was it because she had plans to romance a princess she heard got exiled into her territory or if she has broader political plans and kingdom building? Maybe a bit of A and a bit of B.

Not saying that it excuses anything but considering how she's constantly going on about manipulating these 'naive beasts' to fight for her I personally see it more as a case of two more or less ruthless schemer being stuck to each other
