While I don't want to justify any of the Wolf Girl actions, I like how despite "forcing" Karina to stay in the village as her wife, she wants the best for Karina. While Karina on the other has morally questionable goals but acts friendly and cooperates with Wolf Girl. A nice contrast between the two.

I think is time for some development in the relationship between the two main girls, which is the thing I'm mostly here for.
overly attached and very physical, like delta from eminence in shadow or lappland from arknights. reshutoka has just the positive attitude towards life that acts as a counterpart to karinas negativity.

I'm somehow more invested in the drama between her and her sister than the romance right now
Thanks for the chapter !
Truee.. like what happened to the both of them?? Aurora was such a sweety.. unless she find out the prince was truly a scum bag and wants to protect her dear sister. 😩

pls dont be a stupid plot and say “i love my sister so i banished her to the borders coz she is too good for the prince”
I and many others would be thoroughly pissed if that happened. The only reason Karina isn't dead right now is pure luck.

In 999 out of 1000 realities, she would be dead. Aurora must pay for the near-certainty of death for her sister. NGL, the only solution that makes sense is killing Aurora and arranging her body to make it appear to be an accident.

Harsh? Yeah, but even if Aurora didn't want Karina killed, she's responsible for letting the order get through, especially given how obsessed the prince seems with her.

I like how his manga is progressing so far.
Hopefully FMC will slowly get to love the demi-human village and develop their trust high enough so that she can lead them from that frozen mountain into capital and take power.
Also interested in sister's part of the story, does she really hates her or did she tried to protect her so far?
Overall, this manga can be turned into something really interesting unless author decided to do some kind of bad plot twist in the middle of it.

Could still feasibly be a situation where the sisters are jealous past each other, where Karina wished to have been treated more gently and Aurora wished to be taken more seriously. If the prince is the real asshole in this, he could have played up the latter in a "oh, you're so much smarter than anyone gives you credit for, especially your sister who stole your place" manner to get the bride he wanted.

Admittedly, this is all massive speculation on my part tho.
Yeah, if the younger sis was really worried about her, you'd think she'd step in before the first batch of assassins were sent. It's still up in the air of course.

sorry. but forcing someone to be your wife is still "morally questionable." we shall see if either of the women come to realize their actions/goals are pretty twisted and self fulfilling

If I had a nickel for every time a noble lady named Karina was neglected by her family in favor of her sick younger sister, only for her to (hopefully in this case) find happiness in the frozen north, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice.

It depends. Aurora may only have acted this way learning the prince wanted to kill her, only for the prince to agree and change his mind again and trying to kill her the same. And finding it after the fact

I get it if that's not what you're looking for, but I'm pretty certain the toxicity is the point. Check out those panels of just Reshtoka's bared fangs and her vaguely threatening words - it's supposed to be a discomfiting contrast to her usual sunny demeanour. Karina's the PoV character and her dream of somehow taking over the kingdom with an "army" of beastman is way too distant to take very seriously, but she's clearly not supposed to be the most morally upright person either.

I doubt it'll get much darker than it already has, but I'm looking forward to a story about two flawed women learning to overcome their darker sides and find love together that I think this is aiming at.

I don't think every story is meant to be a schoolbook morality lessen or whatever. We have a villainess and beast woman who are trying to make an advantageous situation for themselves while having cross-culture friction at the start. Friction is good. It's supposed to be a little spicy, a little world building, a little mystery and having these parallel "arranged" marriages makes it even more interesting. Basically nothing in Karina's life thus far has come with her whole heart consent so her new situation in a different society with different choices actually has the potential to be a turning point for her.

Well, this was an interesting way to show the couple's plan.

Prince: Our assassins failed?!...Eh, they probably tripped and fell off the mountain or something. I'll send some of the army next.

Aurora: Hold on. This is stupid.

Pins the responsibility clearly, while leaving room to wonder about the details.

My own guess? Aurora has wanted to defeat her sister for a while, but is having second thoughts about some of the details.
