But in the "Did You Think You Could Live Normally Even in a World With a 1:5 Male-To-Female Ratio?" world, for example, women-targeted otaku media are basically reverse gendered typical otaku stuff for guys like GoblinGuy suggests. Incidentally, another thing I like about that setting is that they actually have women being stronger than men. That's one part I was disappointed about this comic. It kinda undercuts some of the danger from the women when they're not actually stronger physically.

That's actually what I like about this story, considering how weird it is to have women being stronger than men on average. Those species that have that trait are those that have the mother needing to protect the young, usually alone, instead of in a communal setting like marsupials and other mammals; things like bugs or fish or birds that don't pair-bond. Furthermore, it's more a case of the world experiencing gender reversal, rather than men just being far more rare and there being significant social and cultural pressures around them as is the case here.

Wouldn't it make more sense if the genders were also swapped for this trope in this world?
Presumably it's the dudes playing the more gentle "otome" equivalent games here, while the women are the ones playing orc-lady-rapes-handsome-knight games and reading (reverse) harem stories.

Now I'm imagining most of the fantasy fiction in this universe just being the Baalbuddy comics with horny elves trying to get with orcs.

Tbf OG villainesses don’t share either /move on if not “get revenge”/a new man/the villainess getting kicked out or even more likely to pick the heroine over it being a throuple end

....Would Otome tropes be the same in this world though? I don't think it would be a genderswap of genres, but like...is that how isekai stories would really develop?

She did mention “first wife” so I guess polygamy is common in this world/expected /accepted for the rare man that’s actually wanna get married let alone having multiple wives unless it’s one woman and the rest are femboys 8D

Nogunna lie, that skit was hilarious and I have a newfound appreciation for Japanese humour and its tendency for "skits" as a form, even though they've always been garbage when I've seen them on YouTube (Hololive and the like). Maybe it's a matter of being in text rather than audio/video, so my meager brainus can keep up? Maybe it's because the manga leaves no Japanese whereas audio/video leaves Japanese audio alongside the subtitles and then my meager brainus gets distracted? Maybe the panelling/composition from this manga splitting Kana in half (or doubling her) between the nobleman and fiancee gave these two a great deal more character compared to a presenter just leaning to and fro while making the same expressions for the same nobleman and fiancee in a real, live (not necessarily real-life) skit. Anyway, the mangaka did a good job by me.

Looking at some other commenters, it looks like the end part translated to something like "I would've been a goner". As for why proper lady was used, they don't know where that comes from
