Wasn't that just his imagination/nightmare that Lady Hermine laughing with other nobles at his brother's funeral because lady Hermine wasn't even attending the funeral or am I wrong?
It's the the older sister of Lady Hermione if I recall.

Like what blueaqua responded, it's an entire plot point that the two family relationships are strained because of what the eldest sister of the Fürst household has done after the funeral, and now I am guessing the relationship between Lady Hermine and MC is going to have to start from negative stand since I'm pretty sure being chumpy with the Household that celebrated your own brother's death is kinda hard.

I'd say a rather.....unsubtle hint... from the Prince on how he would like to see certain relations... proceed... in the future..
The Prince is very much not stupid and while he does not have the Script Knowledge of the MC, he is picking up on the situation while playing dynastic 4D chess..
And if the situation is as dire as he expects, he cannot afford strained relations between powerful families interfering with warfare.
He's not telling them to get married, but he is telling them to damn well learn to get along.
Pretty much in public, given that the commander would ordinarily never pair those two up, because...
All the Noble jostling makes everybody around them extremely sensitive to this kind of...Hints.

Kinda hard to not be when said battle outcome will determine the fate of the world and most others nobles don't take it seriously.

I guess it's about "I look forward to working with you tomor-" and "Likewise, I look forward to working with", both sentences missing their last syllable.
I'll add that a full stop after "morning" and a comma after "consideration" make more sense.

Not exactly, the one that rejoiced at MC brother death was the older sister, or a member of this girl family, MC happened to overhear that and it made him get negative feeligns towards that whole family, not hostile, he simply doesn't want to have anything to do with them.
In the dream he had after the stampede his memories were confused and he superimposed this girl face on the brother fiancee, it unfortunately got stuck in his mind so he tries to avoid this girl more than he would have before, he knows he shouldn't because is a mixed memory and she is innocent.
We even see her more and know her character is super honest and direct, more noble than the sister or her brother.
