I think the title is wrong
Looking into the raws, it does kinda play out like that. “Ore, Umi no koto ga suki da” which can be that or “I’m in love with you, Umi”. Tho my JP is rusty but semantics I guess.ehhhh... he didn't rly say "I love you"... but sure, finally a confession lets gooo
I guess the translator wanted to escalate a bit the situation
And Anime adaptation finally with a bit more info.... I wish we had a teaser oof
I mean he isnjust saying "suki da" which usually is more of a "I like you" cause imply you are still a bit shy to say something more like "Dai Suki" that Umi said herself.Looking into the raws, it does kinda play out like that. “Ore, Umi no koto ga suki da” which can be that or “I’m in love with you, Umi”. Nope, the title is exactly the same as the previous chapterI think the title is wrong
I blame the Japanese making the word “Suki” being this broad lol.I mean he isnjust saying "suki da" which usually is more of a "I like you" cause imply you are still a bit shy to say something more like "Dai Suki" that Umi said herself.
the next dialogue on the novel as well makes it makes a bit more sense (but on the novel it is "I love you" too lol) but welp it is what it is.
I think its not the best choice, but its not as bad as seeing some official translators translating " Dai Suki" as "I really like you" LOL
