Yeah, having to carry around a bag of severed hands so you can later use them to be able to claim a reward is a bit…

Also, they don't have cleaning magic and have to clean clothes manually. Ugh. And remember all that fuss about soap being expensive and rare enough that normal people don't typically have it. Double Ugh.

But actually, the real WTF moment here is that people age by seasons ! The world automatically enforcing the whole, "new year came, now everybody is one year older" is hilarious.

When you have to fetch your soap from a dungeon, by killing dangerous monsters that may or may not drop it upon death, it's easy to imagine soap being expensive.

All that really sounds medieval europe kinda gross lol

I understood the aging as something like a traditional way of counting, but the world itself adding a year to them makes more sense since they are added to a card and all

Soap does not drop in the dungeon, but the MC makes himself soap from a dungeon drop, namely Shell Powder (a.k.a. backing soda).

The real kicker for me is how quickly the dungeon devours the bodies. Not just how fast it is to start the process, but also that they are fully consumed in a matter of moments.

Could be a class skill, be interesting to see if there was a [Maid],[Servent], or professional cleaner type class.

I think it's more of a bandwidth issue. The information that most people get from the ID cards seems rather limited, and dependent on the skill used to view it. So like the card slots on weapons and equipment, it could be that there is more details there, but they have yet learned how to access it.

O . o
But they make the soap themselves. True the ingredients come from dungeon drops, but they should be able to purchase those from general stores, if not, guilds that service those dungeons.

Well, it doesn't really matter that much if the soap itself drops or the soap ingredients do. In either case, you would need to risk descending into the dungeon and kill monsters. Soap was nothing fancy in real history, as long as you had access to fat. You could get access to it without killing monsters, which means it was nothing particularly rare. Although sometimes I almost believe the Japanese had no soap back in the day because so many (stupid) isekai authors seem to think soap didn't exist before modern times.

Just because they did personally collect the drops from a dungeon, doesn't mean they had too. The drops are fairly common and drop from low end mobs. So it shouldn't take more then going to the appropriate dungeon city and buying the needed materials from a merchant or general store.

Nah, they just value cleanliness more then other cultures.

Girls be slightly more enthusiastic than him.

Slippery when wet.

Digestive juices tend to be acidic rather than poisonous. Though some games make no difference between those.

Tentacle monster. It's not quite that kind of manga, but not that far off either.

All that really sounds medieval europe kinda gross lol
In Medieval Europe soap was relatively common. It was just that good quality soap was expensive.

Sex Maniac skill, ACTIVATE!!!

Gotta love the harem being less squeamish. Even ignoring the whole 'other world mechanics' angle, this series is about a middle class boy fitting in with lower class people. I mean, as far as the parents of these two girls would be concerned, it'd be accurate to say they 'became mistresses of a rich dude' with how they're living

Thanks for the chapter!
