I kind of spoiled myself and honestly: her doubts and insecurities make sense. I can sympathize with reina even if I don't agree with her conclusion. Shes so insecure about her own relationship that she sought affirmation of her own worth in other people's eyes. Which most people at that age do.

But again, it doesn't make it right.

At her age? Nah, it is a fire-forged trait, engraved in their psyche. Cheaters gonna cheat and their justification just sucks. Worth in other people eyes, wth is that to start with? Is she trying to paint herself as a victim because her ego validation shenanigans? Sounds like fun (no)

Yes absolutely i agree there. Like I said already, she had reasons and they really do bring out her emotional depth and make her a more fleshed out character who one could look at and say "I've been there too" and then they can see how what she did was wrong and not make the same choice. I think that's a good thing: giving us the example of "what not to do" in our own lives.

I try not to be a black and white guy, but golly when it comes to the breaking of trust that's all I see. I do think there's merit in the MC getting the full story (like that will probably help him emotionally move past her and any long relationship is going to be difficult to move past), but that's it. Regardless at the end of the day the relationship is over because she broke his trust and now is only bothering to explain it after the fact (probably just for her own sake as getting the full story out will probably help her move past it (and hey, that's not a bad reason to want to clear the air)). All that said the MC is also completely in the right to avoid her entirely and not give her the time of day. He should do what he thinks will be most beneficial to his mental and emotional health. Nothing else really matters for this.
