I remember reading this one, years ago, but I don't remember why I dropped it... gonna follow until we get to whatever it was and see if it's been changed since.

I remember reading another similar one years ago, but it had way more chapters, and I don't remember if his powers were the same. Any idea which one it was?

That doesn't really narrow it down, but I remembered I was reading the wn of this one until some time after the obligatory slave purchase, then this one starts to look a lot more like that 'I got OP waifus, with my copy-paste skill' one. Then there was a separate one where the guy could edit skills, and it obviously has to give his harem orgasms when he edits their skills.... There are a lot of stories where the guy uses his appraisal to start fingering the status of other people.

That appraisal and stealing part is the thing I don't actually remember (don't remember the mc's power). It is the whole "summoned with class, uses artifact to check status but ppl seem odd, no skill is shown for a boy and a girl, ppl are clearly brainwashed and join country in throwing them out, mc turns out to be super successful and quickly enters into a relationship with fmc" part that feels similar.

Yeah, off the top of my head, there's this one, the Death one, and another one I think called Isekai Cheat where the MC is a chuuni that had no blessing so he gets thrown out, only to be allowed by the Goddess that screwed up his blessing to choose his own power up. Everybody else gets brainwashed in these three, except the MC and FML, but I still can't say I've read everything, so you might be thinking of something I haven't seen.

I can't place the titles you mentioned. By death, my first thought is the dhampir boy who loves his milf so much he wants to resurrect her. And "isekai cheat" is a whole lot of titles I read, that none of the ones I can think of has any premise close to this (I think closest is one I could remember had class and brainwash, but not the fmc sharing no-skill and thrown out + start relationship)
So unsure which ones you are thinking of.
