God I fucking hate waiting for a full chapter once a month, I think isekai's being once a month should be illegal because action panels just are ridiculously long :shamihuh:

I hope MC continues to not take bullshit from anyone like he didn't care his shit friend took the girl he USED to be interested in as a gf, killed the spiritual girl who attacked him and how he didn't really care for the cops either, hence I hope when people annoy him he just blows through them lol with power comes the power of not letting things be annoying to you :meguusmug:

also I find it weird how everyone's saying multiple men?women? are interested in MC's mom to the point of wanting to bang LMAO wonder if MC cares about that or not :nyoron:

So MC really give the sword to policeman's daughter, huh. I can imagine the plot when she prolly got hurt because of the gift
I mean ginko is one of the 2 main member of his harem
Mind you in the novel, the father during that scene had proposed the hand of his daughter to him(in an attempt to be nearer his mother)

What?
........ What?

Yeah the cops know about the magic/ghost users who have some kind of elite secret status in society. The cops found out someone set off a nuke that put the fear of God into them, so the cops decided to send a random amount of normal-ass people with ordinary handguns to threaten the person they suspect of being a walking magic nuke in a PUBLIC and RESIDENTIAL space.

Then after these cops all get luckier than winning the lottery because the walking nuke decided not to reintroduce Japan to the sun, after they confirm the magic user is a kid and he shows something they've never seen before they just LET HIM GO HOME?? OH ITS OKAY HE SAID HE JUST WANTED A PEACEFUL LIFE.

ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. Fuck this writing

Editors really need to guide young writers not to mess things up. Yeah, this guy aged in the other world, became more mature and more adult-like. When he returned to his world at the same point of his original age, his physical appearance de-aged, sure, but he shouldn't lose his maturity. I hope the writer knows what he is doing.
Disagree. He's back in a 14-year old body, with a 14-year old brain and the hormones of middle-schooler. It makes sense for his maturity to regress, too.
Not to mention that the things he learned and experienced in the other world are not applicable to modern day Japan, he's lived six years of a totally different life that has little to do with the maturity of a Japanese middle-schooler. What he'd achieved would be the maturity of an otherworldler. You shouldn't criticize his maturity regressing, you should wonder why he hasn't become a completely different person.

I guess you're a young fella.

Maturity is a state of mind. It does not depend on bodies and hormones. You can have a 50-year-old who acts and thinks like an immature moron, and you can have a 10-year-old who has experienced enough in life and learned lessons, which made him/her far more mature than a univesrsity student.

The hormonal aspect you're referring to concerns sexual capabilities. This has nothing to do with maturity. As for the part of Japan, maturity has no relation to location either. You interact with people here and there, which allows your mind to grow and your experiences to expand. Additionally, the hardships he faced as a young man in another world, alone with no family or community familiar to him, contribute significantly to his development, perhaps surpassing that of a 50-year-old from our world.

Also, someone who could reclaim his skills and magic from the other world should be able to recover the most sensible thing, which is his experience and lessons.

Despite being familiar with these "dangerous beings", they still think that having a group of normal police officers brandish their guns on the "dangerous individual" in public is in any way a good idea.

You would think that they would have done their due diligence and at least monitor or do basic research on the dude, heck they have pictures of the magic blast like some sort of surveillance state.

I'll still try to enjoy this manga cause the MC's personality feels refreshing, but the world building is kinda eh at the moment.

I don't read the novel so it's new to me
Other one of his harem is Kumoe(?), the harpy girl?

Page 15 "a ridiculous story like that..."
Dude, your world has spiritualists, demons, angels and aliens. At the very least.
"Another world" and "demon lords" is far from ridiculous by that point, and the boy gave two pieces of evidence of it. (His display of magic earlier, which seems pretty out of norm even with all the above elements, and the sword just now.)
He might still be lying, but it isn't something one can rule out so casually.

Alright, I concede. You're correct.
But then you could also make the argument that his maturity didn't regress at all. The way he's acting now could in that case very well be the state of maturiy he has achieved in the other world. No one in the story has made any comments about him being different, but then again, we also don't know what he was like before being isekai'd. Though I'm sure he was less... nonchalant about things.

It's great that you noticed. That's why, if you remember my first comment, I mentioned that editors, who guide manga writers, should inform them about the missing points and elements in their stories to improve them. After all, a story that doesn't strive for perfection and has many noticeable flaws easily loses value and gets dropped.

So this also have a WN/LN. It is a fun read? This manga being monthly release is going be a hard wait time.
after i saw the manga and all the discussion about it i looked up the novel and read some chapters. im at 27.
personally, the chapters feel like im reading a summary of an anime episode, if that makes sense. a lot of whacky shit happens, but the setting stays sort of slice of life. like, without spoiling much, a powerful girl shows up, fights mc, she loses, and then goes and lives at mc's house.
i like it but i do wanna see it animated in that old 90's anime artstyle.

idk how it sits right with the MC being told to not use his powers, when he was already doing that but some bull headed girl decided to fight him anyway and he had to defend himself.
Also, side note, the police admit that spirit users exists but isekai is too much..?

"You are very powerful, so we'll kill you before you could even contemplate doing Evil. Without proof or recourse. Just to be "sure"."

Right..... OK..... If that's not inviting someone to do "Evil" by razing any organisation going by that credo and salting the ground they trod on, I don't know what is...
It's a damn declaration of war right off the bat...
