Mayu acting like a blind swordsman? I approve.
It's a good idea that Hiroto is looking for ways to improve his ability. Looks like the theory of him literally hacking ghosts to do his bidding might come into play.
But yeah, this is a destructive battle. The student council doesn't care about the potential heat coming from the government for doing this? At least Mayu is being clean about it and not going out of her way to turn Ririka into paste. I doubt Nirasawa is down for the count for good, but I don't expect her to win against a student council member this early.
Having a three-way fight for the fate of Ririka is a cool idea. Either Ririka escapes but Nirasawa gets captured or eventually Mayu and Kibitsu work out a deal: Let Kibitsu have Ririka as a personal toy and she will make sure Ririka won't be associated with Hiroto anymore.
Uh...I'll say left side. Thanks for the update and response, Heat.
Yea, Hiroto gaining a mind control/brainwash power from [Hacking Ghost] feels like the only way this story can go.
If it doesn't this story's gonna have a large cast of ghost characters floating by the MC's side when he finally defeats his sister. That, and he's kinda running out of loyal ghost followers who want to possess people—at this rate he might have to play Russian roulette again and throw anyone inside them.
It's pretty funny to think barely a day passed since Ririka's body got stolen. I doubt she would have ever thought there would be a day where a three way fight for her in the street would go down, especially with people who she literally never met or talked to before.
When it comes to the government I honestly thought Hiroto was a special case for plot reasons and they treated ability users causing mayhem as 'minor disturbances' as long as they don't cause too much trouble. Considering Ririka was outwardly turning students into sex slaves and ransoming them back to their parents, the government clearly isn't enforcing anything. Yea, I feel like the government is just a plot hole we're supposed to ignore unless we get more information on what they actually do to combat/threaten ability users who don't want to back down.
