They did in fact do an edit and backtracked. The original was a cutoff of the kid saying the n-word.

The scanlaters removed the page but there was never anything racist past the level of the south park naggers gag . It's just the usual high strung online karens kvetching about things that are of no consequence to anybody. Rapeman scans back in the day was far more explicit (and hilarious.) o7's for Rapeman the GOAT.

Well, I'm glad they edited it out but I hope it doesn't happen again. This is a chill, cute series and that kind of "joke" is antithetical to its overall themes, especially the themes of this very chapter.
