13 chapter, yet not a single one talking about her's REAL husband

Here we are! Chapter 13, the final frontier (at least here on Mangadex, it seems).

Once again, the mismatch between reasonable expectations and the way the story goes is staggering. Minori was very upset last time about Kyou and our dashing(?) protagonist possibly being a thing, but of course them sneaking behind her back to work on a painting didn't raise an eyebrow (she also can't recognize her mom right away from a drawing again, Takaharu must be a terrible artist XD).

Again, my prediction that the upset wouldn't last long were foiled by the author, who made sure there would be no misunderstanding this time! Minori getting more gluttonous as the chapters grow is kind of cute, and soon she'll beat her mom on the food front.

For all the crap I gave this series, it's a just a mediocre 4 or 5 out of 10. If it dropped the stupid premise that never gets properly addressed or the fake "4 panels at most" drama, it could easily be a 7, and with some effort it could have been good, even, and found a following beyond people starved for slice of life. As it is, though, I really have no interest in continuing this, especially since Kyou stopped stepping on rakes (which is good timing, since I don't know what's going to happen with releases on Mangadex).

To those who enjoy this, while I am sure it's fun for you already, I hope you'll discover better slice of life (there is much better out there, both old and new). For those who hated this, you weren't crazy (at least, most of you ). To everyone, a big salute in case there is a big exodus from Mangadex (and if you find another nice community, make sure to share a link XD).

She was upset about them getting together because she didn't understand what it meant for her and was afraid she was going to be "replaced". She saw the painting and was told of it's origin. As far as she's aware, all they did was make a painting, so she'd have no reason to raise an eyebrow until they started getting shy about it (and she seems too innocent to understand why)

All the hate came from people projecting nonsense onto the story or just plain not understanding what kind of story they're reading and raging that it isn't catering to their misconceptions. Seriously, this whole time has been like watching people go to a bakery and complain about the lack of steaks

This isn't a romance story, it's a found family story. A story about a lonely grumpy dude finding people to share food, stories, space, and comfort with, despite the history they might have together

Yet another group that thinks people will willingly add 20+ discord servers just to try and keep track of manga. No thank you, I'll just wait for it to be ripped and uploaded to C****K aggregator site. I was 1/2 way using the site anyway a couple weeks before the DMCA but stupidly didn't think about exporting my MD lists over at the time.

Still don't fully know my way around said site, and due to migrating my lists after the DMCA it screwed up reading status of the mangas, it still seems like a good site so far. I just hope the chapters uploaded to the multiple discords do get ripped uploaded to the site.

That's easy.

Discord is made up of closed communities that aren't centralised.

Aside from being underneath a layer of secrecy,needing one to actually have an account and getting the invite link,even if a really massive stick in the mud were to report it,it would only be that one server that gets taken out.

Unless it was a very long running scanlation team that has literally done 1000+ comics,that single smack wouldn't be as big as the hit Mangadex has now.

Discord,despite actively keeping an eye on all the images,has no method at all for stopping comic scanlations,only for detecting actual child pornography,right down to even smacking when a scene from a CP video gets detected despite not being CP in itself.
