i wonder roughly how widespread/widely known gender-change is in-universe? i ask this because transvestigating just wasnt a thing pre....pre 2016 ish. or at least not as visible.

im gonna knock on the manga a little bit here. "passing" is a scale from 0 to 100, and rinko is pretty close to 100. but in my experiences when youre close to 100 that means only other transgender people are able to clock you. cis people cant tell. in this manga, squintboy is presumably cis. but he could tell, somehow, and he didnt seem to spend much time with her either. and he also knows of breast forms and tucking underwear? fuck kinda porn does he watch?

even if your transvestigating says 1% of all women are trans, youre still probably gonna be more wrong than right just cuz of base rate fallacy. (for the record: i distrust statistics that say "1% of the adult population is transgender". does not pass my sniff test. 1 out of 100 people are LGBT, yes, i can believe that. 1 out of 100 is transgender? no, T is a minority within LGBT) (people will fight me on this because gallup reports a much higher percentage, but the number is so high that, again, it feels very wrong to me)

btw, boobs are a cheat code to getting gendered correctly too (or so ive heard). dunno about bulge tho. most mens pants are loose enough that no bulge is visible no matter how big your junk is. whens the last time you passed by a dude irl on the street and went "damn he packing!!!!!"? i bet never

I like this explanation. Do we really need anymore chapters of status quo resetting? Like, which is worse: (A) briefly watching a person be forcibly outed or (B) watching the slow degrage as she's eaten alive by external and internal traumas? The aftermath of the reveal was coming either way. The character is going to deal it no matter what, but I feel like I personally am less affected by this outcome than the other. Maybe others would have preferred the cancer, but I'll take the car accident, thanks.

Apparently the word that Japanese use is kitsuneme, fox eyes. Which makes sense, the characters are usually like kitsune, crafty and devious.

I too prefer it when the Drama is speed through so I don't have to consume 10+ chapters of bullshit because the conclusion keeps getting delayed, I still find it funny as to how the author chooses to speed through the drama

The problem is that I wasn't the one to do the first eight chapters. The first six were MTL and the next two are an actual translation, but not by me.

I'd have to redo the fist six chapters.

Also anyone think that if the theory is true that Yuki was Mao's ex who turned into a male and became a horndog to Mao hence why they broke up, wouldn't that theory be interesting because that would mean MC is the 2nd girl who turns male who LIKED Mao meaning in a way Mao is turning the girls who like her into Males and since Mao only likes women(theory) then she ends up with no one

Funny how even though I dislike this community, I just can't stop crossing path with it. Was binge reading Iruma in Demon School the other month... and every single time this neither-male-nor-female demon appeared (Opera), people would always fight in the comment sections about whether it's a he, a she, a they or whatever.
I mean, I don't even understand why I read the comments every time. Maybe I should just stick with reading the chapters and that's it. Or is it the primitive entertainment of watching people fight over meaningless things?...
