I hate it and i like it at the same time
Because i hate the pointless and seemingly endless drama to the point its almost toxic

I like it because their relationship have some flaws which is realistic for me because most of romance manga when the mc confess thier love to the heroine and then have a relationship it often end with a happily ever after while kase and yamada case's thier relationship is still growing, this problems would strengthen their relationship and grow as better person

But if the manga END and if they didn't change or have a better relationship development or atleast have a character development this manga would be little bit a terrible writing

And lots comments just cement what I already knew. Some readers don't really like the story and are just reading for read.
They complain Kase only thinks about herself and is awful and then Kase shows she loves Yamada and worries about her well being and people are out here criticizing her and the author.
Just stop reading if you hate the character so much.
It's okay to disagree about the characters but it's another thing to effectively hate them and you know...the author has made it pretty clear they will never be with other people, so why read it if you don't want Kase and Yamada together?

Really funny how Kase is still getting flak because of the race she had with her former roommate. I know the wager was that Kase can't move out if she lost but I doubt that's gonna happen, especially since her senpai knows her relationship with Yamada. Her only fault was that she wasn't there to help Yamada move in because it happened the same day as the race.

I think it's important to remember that both Kase and Yamada are flawed. How many times have Yamada hurt Kase because she decided to distance herself or keep things to herself? Remember when Kase was so afraid that Yamada was breaking up with her? We often have Yamada's POV so it's much easier to empathize with her but I personally think that Kase treasures her just as much, even though she fumbles a lot. (And they are still fresh out of high school! Let them be clumsy and stupid.)

Also this aged like milk LOL. I want to see her senpai tease her about it.

Because we can hate and like whatever we wants. I like Yamada, but hate Kase with passion. The author made a good work when portraying Kase as the worst gf anyone can have.

An understandable mix of annoyance and worry there from Kase. Yamada really needs to learn to stand up for herself, like saying no to work or the next time Kase feels like holding off on important life decisions because some some rando wants her to bet her future on a race.

lol not that hard, you had important plans. You can say no to boss or just not pick up. It’s not a big company it’s a small flower shop. You should be there for your girl. Either way she isn’t taking care of herself and it’s showing at the end of the scene. The things she cherishes aren’t being taken care of even her health. If she can’t balance work/life then she does need a reality check. Better to learn now before having a full-time job.

Gosh, Kase could donate a kidney to Yamada and people would still be out here dropping the "Worst Girlfriend Ever" take.
The stupid jock character used a stupid jock solution to solve a stupid jock problem stupidly ages ago.(And Im still not convinced she would have actually stayed in that room if she had lost.) Shes just kinda stupid! You know who else is pretty damn stupid. YAMADA!
She hasn't cheated on Yamada. She hasn't physically, emotionally, verbally, or sexually abused Yamada. She isn't addicted to drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or gambling. Truly WoRsT GiRlFrIeNd EvEr!!1!

Kase having done something similar before doesn't make what Yamada did any better.
Similar? Kase did something way worse than this. So yes what Yamada did was better.
Kase chose that a race and her roommate was more important that Yamada and their future. Yamada chose a job over a race… Yamada pretty much needs to move away from Kase with a new woman for it to be similar to what Kase did.

Kase chose that race and her roommate over her plans to look for a home together with Yamada and she never got any karma for it. Kase is the stupid one here and a terrible girlfriend, who knows when she will choose another girl over Yamada and their future again?

True Kase still did worse, but the issue here isn't Yamada missing Kase's race. But instead it's Yamada going in on her day off when she's almost collapsed. While it may have been out of frustration, Kase was right in telling her to not come to the race, as the girl was running practically haggard just to get there and she didn't even eat breakfast. Honestly Yamada would end up taking herself out at this rate.

Everyone always ignores the part where the entire track team pressures Kase to stay, and she settled on the race to appease them without giving in, because she's stuck with this team for college and it would suck to have team members resenting her the whole time. Yeah it upset Yamada, then they moved on, moved in together.
I didn't really like that arc either, glad we're past it, but you all act like Kase tortured and murdered Yamada's entire family by running that damn race and that there can be no forgiveness for being a dumb gay lady jock!

It's easier than that.

Fukami realized from others that Kase was leaving their room. That's considered rude in the West; in Japan, it's downright insulting. And Fukami acted like a bitch with that excuse. That's why Inoue ordered the race, In order to not disrupt the group's harmony (wa, (和)), in a workplace or sports team, the sempai's order is law, and Inoue has a point.

Forced drama? yes, Poorly written? Absolutely. Socioculturally justified? Sadly yes.

I'm so incredibly close to dropping this manga. For once, Kase is trying to show she cares, yet she still manages to be cold and make everything about herself. Yes, she's worried about Yui and she should tell her that, but why does she always have to focus on herself? "You didn't come cheer for me" when Yui literally goes every time. Meanwhile, Kase felt comfortable skipping apartment hunting and moving in with Yui for no fcking reason. Girl, dpmo with your double standards. I'm tired of this annoying drama. I think these girls aren't meant to be together. They're not that compatible anymore. This whole sequel series has been a mess. I wish the story would just end lol. Yuri authors need to get better at knowing when to finish a series. I'm looking at you too, Whispering You a Love Song mangaka.

So again she chose that race over her girlfriend and their future. If she actually thought the team would resent her over something that small shows how little she actually trust and like her team… No they didnt move on, author simply acted like Kase did nothing bad and it was nothing more than terrible writting

Kase was right about that, until she ruined it by the “I would have done better if you was here” comment… And the fact she had the nerve to ask whats more important, when she herself basically told Yamada that her roommate and that race was more important than her…

Prequel was good, but this whole sequel have basically just been about how terrible Kase is as a girlfriend…

Also is whispering you a love song not finished yet? I dropped it after author basically said “Oh btw the ones I write about in the introduction of the series aint even the MCs, the MCs are the annoying characters you thought was simply side characters…” Like what manga has way more chapters about the 2 side characters than the actual MCs?

She was hypocritical, I can agree. That's why I would've preferred that if Yamada had missed the race, it would've been on the account of staying home and resting. She didn't need to go in for work, when she already accepted additional shifts from her job. They can't fire her, because they already have members who quit. There was no reason for Yamada to go to work on her day off. I mean if it was something that Yamada had did to get back at Kase a bit, then I wouldn't have an issue with her on this, but that's not the case.

Instead it seems like it was done just to give Kase ammunition to be upset with Yamada, and give Yamada the idea that she shouldn't have gotten upset with Kase since she did the same thing. Missed an arranged agreement with her loved one, for the sake of fulfilling the request of another, when there was no need to. Sure you could argue that on the scale of things, Kase still was worse, and she was, there's no denying it. The problem still remains is that Yamada missed something because she chose to do something else, and I expect the story to treat it as though they're both equally guilty. Actually it's already even worse now, because Yamada is already acting self-loathing towards herself and apologizing to Kase, when I don't even think Kase went through the same self-loathing.
