The reincarnation plot was added to explain his knowledge. Trouble with socializing is just a "bonus" at best. Though I agree that he also has a reason for his behavior in this world without reincarnation. You see, him being reincarnated was essential to the plot, how else would it be explained that he has trouble socializing with others, but by him being an corporate slave.
There was absolutely nothing in his childhood that could've made him asocial, expecially not his father...
Yeah, it wasn't necessary at all.The reincarnation plot was added to explain his knowledge. Trouble with socializing is just a "bonus" at best. Though I agree that he also has a reason for his behavior in this world without reincarnation.
That being said, I don't think it was necessary anyway. Everyone in this world is such a close-minded moron that Wade could have been introduced as a guy from this world, but with average intelligence and curiosity. That would be enough for him to actually slowly discover the "secrets" of skills.
it's more an issue of how much he knows about the world right now and who he's surrounded with. The manga doesn't clarify it well but the magic adventurers use is, itself, granted by a broader category of magic. Basically, magic in this story has a lot more variation and stuff going on than what adventurers use and noble, researchers, etc use different kinds of magic than adventurers. THEY know what gravity is but the books and research explaining it are kept in the noble libraries and, as they made clear at the beginning, becoming an adventurer is something poor people do.The reincarnation plot was added to explain his knowledge. Trouble with socializing is just a "bonus" at best. Though I agree that he also has a reason for his behavior in this world without reincarnation.
