Dang this is a good fight! Though the last page kinda took me out of it lol

Love that even after pulling out all the stops and his big move, mc is still struggling here. Too many op power fantasy series think we just wanna see a one-sided beat down and while that is fun, this kinda fight feels more epic

Also love that as sick and twisted as his opponent is, he's still all about hard work and training rather than just being born strong

He's really talking all that shit like he's not currently fighting someone who's had not nearly as much time, resources and oppurtunities as him to grow and get stronger. He's talking like he's not one of those nobles that look down on him for not being born with a powerful job like his own.
The hypocricy is wild, and what pisses me off is that when Cross wins, he's gonna forgive all his bullshit and treat him like a friend, as always is the case with these types of stories.

Now, you could say that Cross is blessed to have a trio of overpowered teachers who want to molest him while helping him to train, but all of his growth has been through his own struggles and efforts while this guy just naturally gained his skills thanks to his main job.

Appreciate that the fight isn't one sided & now became a fight of who can manage their resources plus skills efficiently. So satisfying seeing how triggered he got from Cross using "tactics" that he doesn't acknowledge. Also that reward that Cross will probably not get on page 27 is not a bad reward but alas we know it will never happen. Thanks for the translations.

Arrogant noble talking to a mirror again.

Not just "these types of stories". It already happened here with that whatshernameagain girly.
