please be a twist with Kurokawa or people from her estate listening in and not the "you have to tell her yourself" filler chapters.

Thanks for the chapter!
You know its really interesting that she has fallen into completely for this whole "class based" approach to viewing people that she shouldve despised based on her own background. Ig having a single friend at those rich people parties made all of her complaints and doubts about them vanish.
Also obvious bait cliffhanger, im guessing we all know what hes gonna say next.

Exactly. Most Perversion is just an excuse for fan service or unfunny creepy comedy.

Those kinds of protags work cause the story actually addresses it as a flaw rather than a cool little quirk the mc can get away with.

I grew up with perverted protagonists, American Pie came out right when I hit puberty, and perverted MC's was a normal thing to see. The main character was assumed to be a horny teenage boy because that's the normal for a teenage boy, or it was.

They had to be likable of course, High School DxD is a great example of a bad Perverted Protagonist. That's crossing over into Rance and screw that, too mean. Likable like Ranma 1/2, Sanji, or Kazuma from Konosuba, I love Kazuma being a perverted scumbag, but he's still likable if not relatable.
Ah I see.
I still disagree, but I see your point

I already despised those types of protagonists back then, but I also despise these boring unsure of themselves carcasses of self-esteem... Monkey paw, I guess.

The only harem we're getting is Kurokawa's, if any

Sadly Romance Comedy somehow got infected by the "Harem" trope. And since new Manga must be derivate of something already popular and follow all tropes, it's impossible to break the loop at this point. There are rules now, "No perverted protagonists, herbivores only", "Second girl is introduced in Vol. 2", and most importantly "A Festival/Pageant/Play must happen, and take up 50% of the series."
Well, so far we didn't fall in the harem zone. So maybe? I have a lot of good non harem romances on my list

* on the floor, squirming * M-My feels... I am feeling! I am not supposed to feel!

Very obvious where this is going, but I hope we don't get unnecessary drama out of it. Like, please no scenes where she runs off crying or leaves without letting him finish his sentence. Ideally, the next chapter starts with him offering to help her talk things through in person. I can already see the setup for a gag where he can't pay, and she leaves without paying. Then maybe his sister or Kurokawa steps in to bail him out, leading him to arrange a meeting with her.

As for the yuri-bait yandere trope... I really dislike yuri-bait, and the CBT implications made me wince. Even after learning her backstory, I am conflicted about whether to overlook it... but she is kind of my type, no gonna lie. Too bad about the way she was introduced tho! If she stays as a recurrent character I hope we get to see her in chibi form like Kurokawa.

Man, I just binged all the chapters in one go... I should probably sleep now (it's 4 AM).
I have to say, I really like the art style. All the expressions are great... and the chibis give me life.

A good rule of thumb I've found is; if the MC is the only male character with no male friends, it will inevitably become a harem eventually. As long as they have 1 dude friend, the chances of a Harem goes down exponentially.

I think that Takahashi-kun can't help her 'cause it must be her who talks to Kurowawa-san if she want to restore their broken friendship.
Thank you for the translation! :hearts:

Hum... No, I also have mangas on my list like this and it's not a harem either
