One morning, a woman in her 30s living an ordinary life wakes up to find that she has been reincarnated as Magnolia, the daughter of the Gilmore Marquis family...!? She is excited about the prospect of a carefree life, but what awaits her there is confinement to her own room and mistreatment from her family. Unable to bear it any longer, Magnolia decides to escape from the Gilmore family in order to seek freedom and live alone!!
The mom does not have a reason to act like this, she acting like a bitch by her own will. Unlike the father who seems like he is doing it to stop some tome game villainess banishment scenario.okay, sound like the third option.
From previous chapter, it did sent this vibes. Her mother also has some knowledge, if not all of it too.It seems like the dad is the one who retained a previous timeline memory of what would've happened to Magnolia should she lived a normal life and married into (or is engaged with) the royal family. It makes a lot of sense if what he did is to prevent that from happening again... As if to save his daughter even if it means to destroy her happiness.
Man, I didn't notice about the cat. Thinking about what you said and reading back, the expression of the mom seeing the MC outside of her confinement could be more of concern than anything else. It really does seem like both the dad and mom are in it on keeping her away from the capital city and, more importantly, the royal family. From previous chapter, it did sent this vibes. You can see that she got really upset when MC said she wanted to leave and the fact that she act like a villainess while hiding her face behind a cat or fan. Said cat also looks like our MC and is always held like a baby child. She even cried in this last chapter. So it's clear that there's one of two things happening here: she also knows her husband plans and is suffering while putting an act or something really troublesome happened during childbirth and she got some uber postpartum depression. I bet the first one.
For her father, it's clear the regret in his face. Even if it's all part of a plan, you can see the defeat of a man that can't really protect his own daughter when faced with that bunch of evidence. Maybe because it's because he possibly is living more than two runs (previous chapter), maybe a third of fourth or more. Like ''Guy'' said, he really isolated her and put MC with a constelation of godlike team of maids. Or maybe it's the only way he knows given his past with his father. Either way, his father noticed something real is going on and knows it's not best to ask but to not let his son's regret be to waste.
It has potential
i'm hooked. The amount of details in few chapters is pretty good, plus the fact that the MC does not know about a book/game that will railroad our plot.Man, I didn't notice about the cat. This is all speculation but it seems like the previous timeline where she lived normally (as normally as the beloved daughter of the nobility would), she would've been caught in a plot which ended with her imprisoned and that led to an all out civil war in between the royal family and her family? I think the final part of the flashback panel shows the dad being executed. It seems like the plot would've been a standard villainess MC plot where the MC was probably slapped with treason charges that sent her and everyone close to her down a path of ruin.
I can't wait for more chapters damn it.
