Its a beautiful story, i really like the way its put. The idea of things that cannot be seen outside of pictures.

It really resonates with me because her reason for getting to love photography is similar to mine yet very different.

I got into macrophotography a few years ago and have been doing more and more of it. What really makes me love doing it, is that the pictures I take allows me to see things that the naked eyes cannot physically see, all the small details of plants, insects, flowers, that are hidden. It really makes you appreciate the beauty and complexity of nature.

Anyways, I say similar but different because, she presents it as capturing the beauty in the unseen emotions. While I want to capture the beauty of unseen physical details.

Tldr: lovely chapter, cant wait to read the next chapter

Gotta love how "The Moon on a Rainy Night" or "Amayo no Tsuki" keeps coming back up as a theme/topic lol

While Hamaoka thought she hated taking photos at first, lying hidden underneath was the joy and happiness of taking photos. I also thought her story with her mom was sweet, and it's great learning about how she came to understand her passion for taking photos.

And yes, we can also see this applied to Kanon and her feelings towards Saki. While Kanon may think her feelings towards Saki are complicated, lying deep within her heart, her true feelings for Saki may not be as difficult to discern as she thought. It's always said that a picture can speak a thousand words, and so taking one with her and Saki might finally be able to help Kanon come to realize her love for Saki lol

I also kinda relate to this as I kinda hate taking photos, but I've grown to look at them as tangible memories, and sometimes a single picture can bring back tons and tons of memories with the people you cherish.

Kuzushiro could have a lot more wanderings to write before we see a self-aware Kanon. Still. I'm hoping the girl looks at the photo and recognizes the obvious. That is what's being teased, and it's an elegant, appropriate, and uncommonly indirect way of recognizing or admitting to romantic feelings. But it's not a promised solution, just another lump of evidence for this sheltered girl.

'What is thiiiis! I look obsessed with her! Unhinged! And super comfy! Like a fawning lover in a movie! It couldn't be? But there are signs...' Cue panic. Though this series seems likely to stretch the realization out across a few chapters of people figuring Kanon out.
