Yeah I just re-read now, Miyu's suspected killer could be male or female and there's no romantic aspect to Miyu's murder that we know of. So Haruto can be gay for Yuushin without it clearing him of suspicion.

That said, with the way he's acted so far, he certainly doesn't seem suspicious, so he's either a master sociopath, or he's innocent. The brother fainting, though... maybe it's him.

Honestly, they have a lot of chemistry, and it's nice that mc's kindness is finally appreciated by someone. Store brand Miyu is thicc and a fun tease, but she's very condescending and hung up on real Miyu.

From the point of view of fake Miyu, you're right, he still could have killed real Miyu, intentionally or not, out of jealousy.
If that's the twist, it would personally feel like a cop-out for me than a subversion of expectation with how the writing is going, but we still aren't done with him, so I might be surprised.
