Doesn't this narrow it down considerably? It has to be someone who both knew Tsukito went to that camp and that Miyu was there. Also maybe knew that Miyu have confused him for Haruto.

Also Yuushin finding out he managed to pull the real Miyu has got make him wonder if the fake Miyu actually likes him or is just fulfilling the real Miyu's desire.

Godammit...

Not that I'm upset by this twist than none of classmates may be the alleged murderer. Having read and watched a lot of True Crime stories, this is something that happens more often than not, where all the logical suspects end up not involved in the crime and/or are just victims of happenstance, and the case gets cold until new evidence appears. This is the most realistic aspect I can grant this story.

But given this author's track record, this might become even more convoluted just to keep the plot going. I fear for the pacing to take a drop.

44 chapters and multiple comedy and drama arcs of exploring the student's bizarre, hidden, quirky weirdness and now they try to throw this in to mean that actually investigating each of these characters was largely pointless but expanding the bizarre friendship banner and trying to assess a larger set of clues I guess. Man this isn't a very good mystery.

Why are we believing him at all? He was the last person to be with her. She just rejected him, and he admits he was in a foul mood.
They were both on the roof where she fell… and the only alibi is his own word?

If I was a detective, he would still be suspect number one. We need some more definitive proof that he’s innocent. Hell, even Phoenix Wright would lose this case.

I know, it doesn't have to be someone of the classmates at this point. But it at least needs to be someone who had accurate knowledge of the class (I guess, some details of this series are already vague in my head). Besides, in mystery stories like this, the murderer almost never is a random nobody, but usually someone who has been introduced early on.

Looks at Yuushin with suspicion
