Love the little subtle hint (intentional or not) that Cross by himself is already nasty. Cross by himself took out 50 monster while the rest of his team 4 people took out 150. That's on median 37.5 round up to 38 monster per person. Cross the supposedly useless guy is already out performing the Hero, sage, saint and assassin.

Nah I'm pretty sure he's stronger than he gives himself credit for.
Just consider the 50 vs 150 monsters beat. If you singlehandledly beat 1/3 of the monsters a 4 man party kills, that means you're more effective than each of them on their own.

Guess INT is his dump stat.

If he as 1 guy defeats 50
and all of them as 4 defeat 150
that means hes 33% better than them

I'm glad I'm not the only person bothered by this. I had to stop reading and come complain as soon as I came across that.

If the other 4 people were defeating more monsters than him, then their number should have been over 200... and if it was enough for him to be in despair, then it should have been at least 400. (Personally I think 50 vs 500 would have had a nice symmetry.)

Wait this is actually amazing. I love everyone being so down bad for Cross, genuinely down bad at that. It's so absurd that it just loops around to being funny and then again to being straight up adorable. I don't know where this goes from here, but I'm all for it. God, though with Cross dead, I'm sure the Hero's party demolished that kingdom. Like ain't no way the King DIDN'T say something unwise about Cross dying and no Cross there to hold them back... oof. Again it's crazy and adorable how the entire party is like "No Cross no life." They were legit waiting for Cross to say anything negative about the world or the journey so they could just give up, maybe destroy the world from the sounds of it, and live their days as his servants. Amazing. Peak art right here.
