What the hell were Noa's previous relationships like considering this is what she calls "friendship"?

I feel Noa is replicating the same things she would do with a boyfriend with Rihito. Having have had 5 ex-boyfriends and her last one leaving because she was too much, she likely never got to take their relationship this far before.
She now holds complete faith in the “unbreakable bond of friendship” and so she treats Rihito like a friend that can emotionally replace a boyfriend.

Essentially, Rihito is the best boyfriend she’s ever had, but Noa is afraid to admit it, fearing she’ll lose it all if she mentally commits.
