Author is teasing us with an harem ending, but I'm not claiming victory until it actually happens.

Well, the otaku/gal-duo fantasy continues on its merry way. Will there be a resolution by the end? Will the translator find a good word for oshi? Who knows!

Hard truth: a "throuple" is just a harem that gets along.
ehhhh, this series does a REALLY good job at having chemistry and rapport between the female leads as well, making an equal loving relationship instead of a jealous feud over a guy feel very believable. a harem is centered around one person specifically

reminds me of 100 girlfriends, where despite being marketed and intended as being a harem series, it shows the love the female leads have with each other better than some actual throuple series ive seen

Why, when an author wants to slow burn, do they write the concepts of love and dating to be like deep, incomprehensible, philosophical riddles that lead to existential crises, as opposed to just "Hey, I think I might like this person, maybe I should ask 'em out and see if we click"? You can slow burn while still actually making progress, y'know.

I'm not gonna hold my breath on a polycule ending actually being on the table. I'm not even holding my breath on any romance ending being on the table.
Because it can be deep, incomprehensible riddle when you're still a kid without any romantic experience, and only media idealized and very stereotypical portrayal of romance and dating, which just makes it even more incomprehensible when you try to apply it to real life?

Like, many people really don't know how dating works, or how to distinguish between "like" and "LIKE", or when hint is a hint. Look at all the advice boards at questions about romance, even adults are confused. Though in real life it's less "what is dating" and more "I have vague idea, but I don't know how it works, or what is creepy and what is romantic when it comes it liking people, and how to even recognize that someone likes you or make someone recognize you like them without looking creepy/easy, and how to deal with potential rejection?".

if this doesn‘t end with both girls wearing a flashy gyaru apron and saying “Welcome home darling” at the same time I will consider it the biggest throw in manga history :wooow:
I think Amane would wear somewhat mature rather than flashy apron, she's the cool one, the moon to her friend's sun.
