She's pretty clearly distressed over having both feelings. It's why she stopped at the love hotel but was extremely conscious of wanting more: that was the first point in the story where those feelings had split for her. Now she doesn't know which way to go. She may even be struggling with the idea that she groomed him unconsciously.
