all im wondering now is how that kid would've reacted if he saw the news that the person he stole from is now dead. Like imagine having to deal with that guilt, taking their belongings indirectly took away their time in the world and not even being able to apologize to him. the old guy is kinda the only person in this manga who got a "bad ending"

what makes me mad is that the first guy's ex-wife literally just left him and then decides to train as a care-worker like ... how about taking care of your chronically ill husband wtf

She was trying to but rereading chapter 1 makes it real obvious why they divorced.

And let's not kid ourselves, he didn't have to die like that and definitely didn't have to have his dog die like that.
