Next chapter (iirc, if not then chap 25) Lapis and Natori are having a night talk in bed and Natori has a slip up, which causes Lapis to revoke her pet-master contract and leave her justifiably depressed. As of the latest raw, Natori works as a maid in the castle and is down in the dumps. So seeing Lapis cry gives me hope that she realises how important Natori is to her and goes to get her back.
