Looking at the authors other works I would not rule out the possibility at least on the art side, unless either the author is very talented at drawing in very different art styles or someone messed up attributing who the artist is and the author has different artists for their works.

Idk about the art but i feel like i've seen this 'story' multiple times , or the reverse where that Goblin took in a child and it grew up to seek revenge or so

I’m obviously not an expert but from having to look at Vocaloid thumbnails to determine whether they were AI, I don’t see any major tells in the art? Most of the “mistakes” mentioned (like the hand holding in the final panel looking a little strange) look like human error at most. It lacks the blurred, indiscrete details common to AI image generation, even as it has “improved” its ability to steal and mash together as time goes on. (So if this is AI, then I’ll never going to be able to tell what isn’t.)

Edit: I can see clear style commonalities in their other comics as well? Not sure what that was in reference to. (And as specific as the teruteru-bozu comic is, I’m not sure how well that could be successfully AI-generated.)
