I have a mild suspicion, maybe even a hope, that she will not take it. That she will justify it as wanting to win by her own power, as an excuse. I desperately hope he does not walk back and see her holding it up and coming to the wrong conclusion, ruining it for the entire next volume.
Now then, shall she misunderstand and think he's giving her the belt, decide to betray his trust and steal the belt, or decide not to take it because she wants to earn it herself at this point 🤔
Also, the great irony with Haru's attempt at self discipline is that trying to force distractions out of your head like he was doing tends to make your mind focus on those distractions more.
holy peak chapter. Unironically despite having daughter/fanservice bait this manga has probably the best execution of these admittedly otherwise generic ideas I've seen in recent times. Regardless of if she takes or doesn't take the belt there is good reason to be engaged.
my guess is that she try to take it at first, but won't actually, she feels like she needs to get it from the hero directly instead of this. the won't take it cus her pride scenario
The question may not be "will she take it or not take it" but rather "will she barge into the bathroom to ask him if he's dying because he took the belt off and that's why he's been a mess all day"
She probably thinks glasses and the belt are as important to people as her horns are to her
Its less developing and more solidly established lol.
Many times she has used the belt as an excuse to get closer to him. She's too dumb to fully focus on seducing him for the belt and insted is just focused on winning him over cause she liked him.
Proof is back when she was being harassed by some creeps and she realized the reason she just didn't transform is because she doesnt want to destroy things anymore. Even though she could've easily transformed and broken those dudes with one hand.
