Yeah, there were a lot of photos and memories of her over at his house, but none the other way around. It's strange, but the only thing I don't really like about the mangaka's art is how she makes the parents look older than they should.
The mum looks like she aged 20 years in what's only been maybe 8.

What are you talking about? We never see her house in the entire chapter.

What does her house have to do with anything? My point was that it was clear that in their childhood, she was always visiting him, and that his mother was a sort of "substitute/additional parent" for her, but we saw no evidence that he ever went over to her place. That is, I kind of wondered if she maybe had some not-great parents growing up.
