Lesson 40: All is lost.
The chapter begins with a battle scene. Washio is thrown by one of Drako’s attacks, crashes through a tower, and lands in a wooded area. Washio once again tells Drako to calm down.
Washio: "Ouch, ouch, ouch..."
Washio: "Drako! Please, calm down!!"
Drako launches a beam attack at Washio, apparently the same one that threw him through the tower. It doesn’t resemble her usual fire breath. Washio spins his ring, raising a barrier.
Drako then unleashes several beam attacks at Washio, who dodges and runs to evade them. The earlier attack came directly from her mouth, but the following barrage seems to originate from a sphere she conjured.
The scene shifts to the battle between Alice, Claudia, Aria, and Rimnoa against Julius.
Alice launches missiles at Julius, but they pass right through him without hitting. Aria attacks as well, but it has no effect.
Aria: "As I thought, there’s hardly any response at all."
Julius: "It’s useless. Physical attacks don’t work on me, and of course, magic has no effect either. Just like Professor Rimnoa said, no one can destroy me."
Julius 'teleports' behind Claudia and speaks close to her ear: "Even with the power of a monster girl, it’s no use."
Claudia tries to strike him with one of her tentacles, but it passes right through him.
Claudia: "Professor Rimnoa! What is an astral body!? I can't hit him at all, and it's seriously freaking me out!!"
Rimnoa: "An astral body is a spiritual body that exists as a counterpart to the physical body."
Rimnoa: "In the Kōyō Region (Yellow Ocean Domain), what is referred to as the "Kon" (魂; "soul")within the Konpaku (魂魄; "soul and spirit")."
Rimnoa: "It exists in the Astral Realm and normally cannot be interfered with from this world."
Claudia: "???"
Aria: "And yet they can interfere with us from over there? That’s so unfair!"
Alice launches more missiles, but they have no effect.
Alice: "I propose using holy magic."
Rimnoa: "Well, normally, since it’s an undead, holy magic would of course be its weakness, but... Since it's an astral body, landing a hit is extremely difficult."
Claudia: "No way! Isn't it invincible!?"
Aria: "…That’s unfair!"
Julius spins his ring, and gas begins to pour from his mouth.
Claudia: "A weird smell... What is this?"
Alice: "Corrosion gas magic. Please avoid breathing it in."
The girls’ clothes start to dissolve.
(TL note: I rolled my eyes at this blatant fanservice.)
Alice: It’s dangerous. A lewd attack has started.
Back to Washio's battle with Drako. Drako continues her barrage of beams, and Washio starts running toward her.
Washio screams, "DRAKOOOO!!" as he tries to reach her, but Drako strikes him with her tail.
It turns out it was just an illusion. The real Washio reaches Drako and hugs her, thinking, "Too bad. Mirror image. It’s only a reflection." As he holds her, Drako’s eyes, which were black, begin to return to normal.
The chapter ends with Washio hugging Drako and saying, "Everything’s fine now."

now I'm gonna cross-post a theory I posted in the previous thread here:
all this shows is that the author really doesn't wanna let Julius lose. Even if Wishy Washio manages to stop Drako, Julius will disappear and try again.
Then I was reminded of something. Isn't there a ghost as being one of the 5 students Washio has? (Page 6 of Chapter 1)
... if so this "ghost girl" will be the key to finally fucking up Julius. OR she's the reason Julius is here in the first place. Either way, until her introduction we wont be able to see any way to fight Julius properly...
I'm gonna need to drink until this ghost girl shows up. My chances of dying due to alcohol poisoning are at an all time high now...

Gods this trash is taking too long to wrap up. This series could have been decent harem shlop, but no the author needed to add arbitrary drama with the arrival of each of the MC's female students coming to continue learning under him, and seek to get in his pants. I'm getting closer and closer to that door, and putting this in my Dropped category. It doesn't help that each chapter is torturously short, dragging these painfully mid as hell arcs on for weeks between chapters.
