Really funny to see how Togid tried to force the issue and he did not have to make such an effort at all

He was having that argument with Sedona about fate and how she was foolish for trusting others to make the right decisions (basically), so this (and the book) are nice demonstrations that between the two Sedona has been right to trust this kid to make the right choices and that maybe Togid should learn it's okay to step back and not force things that don't need to be forced./ISPOILER]

Those girls at the beginning, goodness. That place is 90% women, they are talking about marriage and finding a guy and how difficult it is, and STILL they had excuses for every one of the three why it wouldn't work. And the reasons? Whole family in the same career, family is racist, and not tall enough.

It makes sense for them to not want to marry yet considering how sexist their world is outside the library, even within you still see some of it bleed out from the men in position within the library (like the dude who keeps trying to bully the kid, togid trying to manipulate theo, the fairy folk who's part of the cult trying to destroy the credibility of the grand library). They get to be women with labor in a society that only has majority of them not even given the privilege to study and even after they got labor their families still manage to badger them about marriage. Like it just sucks, and honestly is a pretty nice reflection of our reality where most if not all social structures are still patriarchal.

By the way, there are only 3 more chapter parts left in this saga/act.

I don't want to get burned out, so I'll probably slow down after that, or take a break for a few weeks. As of now I'm doing this 8+hours a day, lol.

Alternatively, I might skip the Sophie Schwimm background between-saga chapters and hop ahead to continue on with our usual protagonist. I could then either upload those out of order and loop back to the in-between ones, or just sit on them until I get around to the others. Or I guess I could just hop between them and upload them all at once, but that'll be a few weeks or so.

Not sure yet. Just a heads-up that this every 2/3 day rate probably won't last once this saga/act is over.

Plus, we're now actually only 12 chapter parts from being caught up to the monthly Japanese releases. And once we're caught up it'll be a month between each chapter part.

Nice to see those two as first and second place (maybe second and third because Togid probably did something) and being able to choose their own paths. Alv is still my favorite character, hope he fits well in the Protections Office.

Don't skip over the Sophie chapters. It shows the world in less of a noblebright tone and we finally get confirmation on Theo being from the Fumis orphanage, with his "sister" also being there.
