Was that supposed to make Reina more likeable? Instead of communicating her concerns she uses her own self-made issues into an excuse to cheat and gaelight. Holy shit what a dumpster fire of a person.
I don't think the intent is to make her more likeable but just more humane. So far in the manga Reina has been really uncanny in her behavior: We knew there was an incident between her and the MC, enough to trigger him just from something as simple as recalling her name and he completely shuts down when he sees her the first time but meanwhile she's drawn in such a clean and perfect and shows almost no remorse over anything. Happens again in the party and since then she has been trying to casually crawl back to his life without so much of an apology. Almost as if she's claiming back something meant for her by right.

One can only imagine what would have been of the MC if he had encountered her alone during the first few times she went after him...

I really, really hope the manga diverges from the novel version(s).
If it doesn't, that coupled with the release schedule means I'm gonna drop it. I can't wait ~2 months for ~30 pages just to get pissed off all over again at the stupidity of some of these characters.

Yeah this sounds more right, "likeable" wasn't the best word here.

How about the guy who mention they would of been great friends to meet? Both knowing the guy they would of bonded and would help move the relationship forward, but no author had to put stupid confusions on all the characters involve and cause this cluster of problems to be resolves in many chapters... many more chapters until someone has the decency to talk to each other instead of assuming what people are thinking. my votes is on Reina as she started this whole mess to begin with.

This is complete BS knew it because you both should set on what you can do and not do with the opposite sex as a good couple but she didnt say anything until he asked and she said it was okay he kept talking to her and then she thinks its okay for her to cheat yeah bitch please now you just needed some excuse to justify it for yourself and fuck Natsuki

Of course, that's why it was up to the ex to say something if her bf was to dense to realize what he was doing was hurting her. It was never his intention. She decided not to clear the air or mention her insecurities to him, and maybe convince him to set some boundaries with his friend. Instead she jumped to conclusions and gave in to her insecurities. Yes, the MC should have been more empathetic, and realize what he was doing, but he was dense. Sometimes you need to explain to people what actions they are doing that irritates you, because they may not realize what they are doing is bad. I know this from first hand experience.
Honestly, I just don’t agree. Both times Reina brought up Ayaka, Yuuta went out of his way to reassure her. She’s the one who failed to communicate how she was really feeling. She’s the one who didn’t set clear boundaries when he specifically asked if it was okay. They hadn’t even been dating for a full year, it’s not his job to be a mind reader and magically predict what she’s going through. The fact that people are trying to push an once of blame on him just makes no sense.

Nah, all of these comments are just simply crazy. Do we even read the same chapter??? Just switch up the fck*n role, imagine ur GF is the one who has a male best friend that just straight far superior than you instead. And furthermore, he chose to ask her for a help when he was in trouble instead of even mentioning anything to you, and you just found out by accident after it happened. Communication?? Straight asking him if he is cheating?? Asking him to just straight cut-off his best friend?? Most of these actions would not exactly do you any goods. Miscommunication happens all the time, there are a lot of things that can't be easily communicate with and are much better not to, no matter what kind of relationship you have. Can't even really blame her all that much, all she did was trying to test if she will feel guilty or not on a whim if she is the one having an opposite gender best friend instead. Honestly, this mange deserves harem route ending judging by how the story is being told this far.
I would talk to her, that I jealous over him. Communication bro, it's relationship human not with computer. Beside, they just friend and didn't hold hand and others

"Of course he would badmouth MC and call him a cheater if it would lead to him getting the girl he likes."

That's called being a fucking snake, ya dumbass.
Well, he only knew what her friend told him, thus he was judging him with a biased opinion. He doesn't owe anything to the MC, and it's not exactly bad to try and pick up a single lady you like you idiot.

Whoops, I got my names mixed up, I meant Toyota, the glasses guy (my apologies). Page 9 tells me that she ran into him by coincidence and he's initially referred to as a "junior" and not by his name. She also says "what if I becake good friends with a guy" on page 33, implying she didn't see Natsuki thar way before.

Stuff like "I'm your fan, please date me!" strikes me as bizzare. What does it even mean to be a "fan" in this case? I find him manipulative.
He was trying really hard to get into her panties. Can't fault a guy for trying to get it on with a girl he likes, especially one who seems to be getting neglected (due to information from Natsuki) by her BF.

Your comment is the one Crazy, you idiot!!! Miscommunication is clearly a big mistake in a couple's relationship! If you are dating or in a relationship with someone then it is important to have good communication, because being a couple means understanding each other better. But this bitch tries to justify her cheating with miscommunication and you also justify it? Are you crazy? There is no justification for cheating!! Plus most people's household lives can be ruined by miscommunication. Don't you know how divorce happens in a marriage huh? One of them is clearly because of miscommunication then boredom then cheating. You and this bitch character are clearly not ready to be in a relationship with someone, lol.

nah, I can absolutely fault the guy for that, even knowing things he doesn't know. He didn't ask for clarification from Reina on the veracity of what he heard from Natsuki. He just straight up assumed this one chick told him the gospel truth about the relationship of another chick.

Unless I'm misreading, Natsuki didn't say that Reina and Yuuta had broken up. She only claimed that Reina and Yuuta were having problems.

That's not a "single lady".
And best of all - his statement of "I'll never cheat on you!" ?
Said right before he tries to get Reina to cheat on Yuuta, with him.

Glasses is an opportunistic pissant. And the extent you've defended him almost makes me wonder if you have some sort of personal stake in a fictional character's exoneration.

bro, this guy is crazy. even just looking at his comments makes me feel lazy to start a debate with him. you're wasting your time arguing with someone who doesn't understand what's right and wrong and doesn't use his moral knowledge. i was surprised that someone defended Reina but i was even more surprised and failed to understand if someone defended this bastard who wears glasses.

oh I don't really care one way or the other, I had some free time.

And I tend to write everything online for the sake of passersby, not necessarily the person I'm responding to, anyway.

But I appreciate you looking out for me <3

by the way can you tell me what happened in the novel? i already understand that this manga is no longer worth continuing when the Author tries to justify cheating. i also hope the Manga has a different plot from the novel if you think the novel is bad. but i guess it's impossible if the manga always follows the novel's plot until this chapter so at least i want to get some spoilers with what happened in the novel so i can stop reading this trash manga more easily.

I haven't read it, I only have the hearsay of the spoilers sprinkled throughout this post. But if they are to be believed -
Yuuta actually apologizes and admits fault to Reina and they get back together. I don't know what else happens beyond that, as I don't know if I care enough to actively find out, beyond having it incidentally spoiled for me down the road.

oh shit. that's a really trashy plot when a victim apologizes 🗿 is that the ending bro? or more precisely is the novel still continuing or is it finished?
