I apologize if my opinion makes you angry, seriously.

But i'm feeling like this is getting stale, progress is very slow, almost nothing REALLY important happened in recent chapters, and for being chapter +100 i'm getting tired of this.

But just my opinion, please don't be mad.

Not mad I just disagree. I think the human element and the theme of how there are no winners in war are really what the story is about. And I enjoy those themes and how most character really have the same common goal.

Your opinion is valid and fair.

I understand where you're coming from! After the conclusion of the Informant story and that amazing heart-wrenching retelling of the old times, things haven't been the most exciting, nor even interesting.

I sort of disagree with sentiment, however, because I think it has finally found some interesting hooks for the plot to bite into!
I just hope it bites into it pretty hard, instead of the story getting stale again D:

Understandable. After the first two chapters (especially that explosive "wedding") I did expect things to get more exciting.
It's definitely a lot more "unfocused" compared to other shonen, if this even counts as one.

And while I like Anya, I think she's 100% the reason the action have slowed down. She really just can't participate in any action scenes for obvious reasons. As for spy stuff, she won't be where the intrigue is, so the plot can only progress with her if she's in the right place and time for her mindreading powers, like that time with the hostage situation.

Well, after Loid tried to see if there was more to the relationship and ended up getting power kicked, i can see him not giving heartfelt answers. Still sucks though, see what happens next.

I do agree somewhat.
I was hoping that the cliffhanger the last chapter ended on was going to be a serious development, but as usual it was just a bait and switch. I don't know why authors do that, they pretend like there's going to be something big and then it's just a gag. The only thing that awaits the reader is dissapointment.

Right now the story isn't really going anywhere. Sure there's some minor developments here and there but it's mostly just spinning it's wheels repeating the same character arcs.

I kinda feel bad for Yor here. She's trying to relay her feelings to Loid, and he's just giving her a no-answer while carefully assessing everything about her, except herself.

I think it's impossible to disagree with what you're feeling, by definition. But what you're feeling also doesn't matter to anyone but you.

If you want to discuss the factual side of things, though, there's been a lot of gradual character growth in the recent chapters. Not just for Yor, but, say, for Yuri, too.

I've never really seen this story as being plot-driven, so it surprises me a little when people bring it up as an issue. This series has always been more about characters and world-building. Like, this most recent arc showcased more of Garden and what that's been like for Yor, and it's a direction that isn't out of the norm for this series.

I personally found the most appeal in Spy X Family coming from the characters being cute and funny. Anya is obviously at the center of this, and as Radstylix points out, it's hard to pivot towards action and plot when Anya needs to stay relevant—following Loid and Yor more to focus on action and plot would disappoint fans like me who would like to see more of Anya being cute and silly, whether with her friends or her family.

I haven't read them since their brands of comedy didn't click with me, but based on some of their later volume covers, I suppose similar manga like Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Sakamoto Days do tend to transition to more traditional action and plot driven stories. Maybe fans of similar series have always had an expectation that the plot would be more of a focus. If this is where your tastes are, it may make more sense to put SpyXFamily on hold for a while.

During the first half of the chapter I wholeheartedly agreed with you, honestly the only reason I don't completely agree with you is that I actually appreciate a lot the last few pages with Yor.

So more like I 80% agree with you. The other 20% is really excited about the change in tone for the last 3 pages.
...I think... (...I want it to continue on forever)

Sure... Yeah... (That's not what I mean)

... and what about you, Loid? (That's not it)

(Ah... I think what I want to know... is how Loid feels about it)
This is probably the first time we've seen Yor actually engage with Loid, so far she's been fine with accepting his "kindness" and letting him take the lead, having a very formal relationship that amounts to little more than their shared interests, kinda like coworkers who get along but don't actually spend time together if not work related.

This is the first time we see her "express" frustration and even more important the first time we see her wishing to know more about Loid. Of course all of this is just all crumbles, the other parts of the chapter are probably set up for other things but I really hope we get to see more of Yor in this tone and that they can just focus on her and this plot-line, I really hope they tone down or shorten the gags for a while and focus on this new development for Yor's character.

Funnily enough, I dropped Sakamoto Days when it started getting boring to me even with all the action going on. There's something about it that bored me (I think it was during that school infiltration), but I'll perhaps pick-up Sakamoto Days again in the future.

And now that I think about it, Yor doesn't really contribute to the overarching spy plot that much. If anything, her brother adds more since he's part of the government. It's typical spy thriller stuff if that happens, but it's a classic for a reason.

IMO the series needed a lot more spy x assassin drama with Loid and Yor instead of most of them being romantic comedy moments to keep things interesting. Or Yuri suspecting Yor and vice versa. Or Yor unknowingly trying to kill Loid in one of her jobs because Loid is disguised. I expected something like that to happen from the initial premise, and the closest we got so far was Yuri almost uncovering Loid in one of his missions.
