Like im p sure she was different when she was with shirota as kid, no? And then at some point she pissed herself because she got a bad grade or something and then got the ability but why is she so obsessed with doing everything perfeclty? Why go through all this undue stress?
Her only goals right now seem to be perfection for the sake of perfection and getting with shirota and those are very obviously in conflict.
The doylist explanation i get, i am just usnure if there is a watsonian one.
Is she just that stupid maybe?

Yeah the author has spent no time from Takamine's perspective or any one else to provide character motivation for Takamine. We have the minimal perfectionist and is weirdly retardly in love with Shirota.
