I mean, considering the other works made by the artist, it's pretty obvious some of that would be present here.

So this is gonna have a "big titty girl suddenly falls for anesthetic even though they're basically a god" except here it's reasonable because she's a dumbass, unlike that other isekai with a big tittied gb'd gal where it felt pretty forced for a ptsd arc.

I am of course aware of the history and the modern problem. It's why people from cultures where it is seen as a horrific act write it so often that the 'hero' is perfectly fine with buying people. I could understand if it existed as an established practise the hero couldn't change in that world/time but they still viewed it as abhorrent, the whole "slavery is normal here? Guess I'll buy some people" is what puzzles me from a modern person recently isekai'd in.

Dunno what to tell you. There are a lot of kinda shitty people out there who'd have slaves if they could, and even more who have no real principles and just get their morals from their current environment. It's not unrealistic to depict such a person as an isekai protagonist.
