Snails have eyes on stalks that can move individually and they still see stuff around them. Also, even the human brain does some tricks to merge the different perspectives of the two eyes - I assume something similar is happening here.
Honestly, the more I read/heard about how much our brain can edit our vision, the weirder it gets. Can't imagine how weird it would get with even more eyes.

I wonder if each snake has its own tiny brain. . .do they have individual personalities? Or do they share the entire nervous system with the medusa with secondary eyes/mouths/etc? Are medusa technically closer to octopi (a brain for each arm) than snakes (single brain)?

Where cute snakes eating watermelon? :qq:
Snakes are carnivores, so they'd have no interest in fruit. And that's assuming Medusa hair snakes even have their own digestive tracts. I kinda figure they're an extension of her body, connected to her circulatory system, so her bloodstream provides them with nourishment just like the rest of her.

It was pretty obvious she sees with the snakes. I thought it was a joke at first but it seems a lot of people needed confirmation.

They do seem to share thoughts with her, considering we often see them mirroring her reactions and behavior.
But they also seem to have independent thoughts from her, because we also sometimes see them looking at her in disbelief at what she’s saying.
But I don’t think they have independent thoughts or personalities between their fellow snakes, because at all times all snakes have shown the same behavior as far as I remember.

I can't imagine how weird her vision must be to see from so many wobbling/waving perspectives at once.
Welp, I believe a sneks can also "taste" where their pray is using Jacobson's organ. She have the rough position of the watermelon after all that spinning lmao

Since in previous chapters she complained she couldn't see the shooting starts with the blindfold, I'm assuming she's not directly sharing the vision with the snakes but they makes her aware of her surroundings. Of course, given the nature of this series, I'm not sure how ,uch the author is caring about continuity.
So does she have predator vision with the snakes?

HOW DARE YOU SPEAK BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE OLD GOD!

AND THE ANCIENT GOD!

Does make me wonder why they were called "fruit" more often then "eggs"...even the latest stuff use fruit.

It was pretty obvious she sees with the snakes. I thought it was a joke at first but it seems a lot of people needed confirmation.

Most of the multi-eyes species also have fairly stable eyes, even what movement some have is no where near as flexible and variable as having binocular vision pairs on the end of extended coiling muscles.

She could quite literally create a dome of vision around her with sweeping focus points, like using echolocation to sense things all around but vastly more useful in the info it returns.

So anytime she's complaining about not seeing anything,it's mostly sentimental, she wants to witness things with her own eyes, after all.

Cosidering that, they probably do have their own brains to help process and map out the vision they see to create a better understanding for her main brain, and it's quite likely she can view things as if they were 3D models in a modeling software.

Given enough reach or a small enough object close to her,she could even straight up spin it around in her mind exactly like that.

Obviously,in order to share that info, the brains are linked through nerves,so they may share the same sentiments but can still produce differing reactions, which might be helpful if one snake detects something, its' change in behaviour being a signal different from the others, causing an almost immediate change of focus to resolve the issue at hand.

Also, having that many Jacobsons' organs means she can detect chemicals in the air and analyse them even better then ever,so it comes down to how many chemicals does a watermelon give off that can be detected at a distance?

As for eating, and possibly breathing,if they don't just have a solid meaty tentacle aspect, then the two tracts would have to either go around her skull or into it before making their way down to her throat.

If we ever get a very good look inside their mouths, then we'd see the confirmation.

The real kicker,as Mangamoz brought up,is if they're pit vipers, the pits being the heat detecting organs.

If they do,then once again, all those heads result in much higher resolution of the heat beng emitted, possibly with enough clarity to sense her masters' blushing cheeks and,I assume, his own snake in the Fanbox side.

well there are many specieses that have multi-sensory vision so I guess her central brain has its own job to combine and process the raw data into "information"

Maybe it's more of snakes relaying what they see to her by speaking to her mind rather than actually seeing through the snake's eyes. That's just my guess so maybe I'm wrong

I remember playing that! Wow, I feel old admitting it.
Anything above 25 makes one a God of times past.

Above 30 is an Old God of youthful memories.

Above 40 is an Ancient God of true nostalgia.

Those were the days,my friend,we'd thought they'd never end...
