Really frustrating for the lack of a better word. A good editor would've had them redo that first chapter since i don't think the author really understood where they were going with that scene. Really wish we'd move away from that type of shit in media.

They have this pervasive idea that if they have to ask for what, out loud in actual words, they want they've failed to be attractive enough. The ideal is that they're so desirable that men take the initiative. It's a social status thing for them.

Art reflects life, so we must move away from that type of shit in real life first (good luck~)
