How... How is this not considered straight up hentai...? I'm always amazed by the standards of the Japanese regarding censoring, LMAO

In the books:
  • Anita wasn't a villain.
  • Sei is never this rough with his sexual partners (but he never fucked a villain in the books, the closest to that is the Countess I guess.) Another case of the mangaka's twisted fetish.
  • Sei only intentionally impregnates someone once, and it's to tie her to him, he wouldn't do it just because like this. This kind of lessens the impact of that incident.
  • The courier is told to 'pack up the girls', only way a person can be packed in storage is if they're dead.
Honestly, he's acting more like Rance than Sei from the books here.

Thanks for the chapter.
okay. i'll bite: how do these event unfold in the books? here it looks like he was "rough" in order to reach his party. As for the impregnation...well, i'm sure he got/invented "next day pills"~

About "impregnation", the 'art of lovemaking' is basically using magic to alter your body or your partners, magical strengthening of the body is the most common application of magic in the setting.

Nothing in this chapter happened in the book, Anita was just a regular prostitute he slept with, but the girls got hit on when changing shifts (which Anita warned about), causing them to come to Sei and the parties to split the following morning.

Funnily enough we have seen everything for now. Uncensored pussy (reflection in eye), multiple uncensored buttholes, internal pussy with womb (also a crossview cumshot). We even see the top of the warrior girls clit. The only things missing are uncensored (or less censored) gape of butt and pussy and a clear shot of a penis.

What's misogynous about this ?

I'm not the one who made that statement and I don't really care, but you can't see these kinds of events as flattering either.
Personally I would find inflation and the trope "hitting the cervix with your huge ding dong is the apex of pleasure for a woman" extremely funny (my sense of humor is finished), but then I think that some people have that as a fetish or unironically believe that and I kind of cringe a bit.

Is this something worth bitching about in the comment section of a manga that clearly doesn't take itself seriously? Nah.

honestly the chapter where Rock was describing all the torture that would befall the Tiny Courier Girl after he sold her off as a sex slave (on top of getting her backstory of being "just a Courier" and thus being ...used by all the men around her up to that point) was far more egregiously misogynistic than this.

It's all hand-waved away as "world-building to show just how fucked up some of the people are".

I guess you could say that it's a bit iffy that only women seem currently be hyper-sexualized and sexual violence seems to be specifically depicted as happening to women more, but Sei has been with multiple more-than-willing partners (we meet him going at it with an enthusiastic cat girl, the Rogue chick seemed to rather enjoy herself after she failed to dominate him, and the Saint wants to jump his bones in The Fullest Biblical Sense)...and three of the main characters are all women who are extremely powerful in-universe and aren't depicted as slaves to sexual impulses, so it's not like the women in the world exist purely for the gratification of the men (though they absolutely do for the reader, but that's a meta-argument I'm not going to even touch).

But you're completely correct - this manga should absolutely not be taken seriously (and not just on the basis of what happened in this chapter).

Great stuff, though I think the intention of the last page is that the first bubble is repeating the opponents question back to him, as a preface to the answer he gives immediately after, so the proper phrasing would be him saying "Why didn't I call for backup?" not him asking the opponent.
