I really don't get it what is the daughter and mother motivation tbh. The past few chapters has already broken me, I'll just wait till the manga gets more chapters that finally shows there motivation or have ended in a note

I speculate that mother is soon to be dead or thinks that in a few years she will be. Her husband might be sinner (relative, cheating partner etc.). Daughter is twisted because of her mothers indoctrination.
The plan is likely to make him love the daughter and eventually to make a child with her.
Where i'm divided is that i don't particularly understand the main motivation.

Is it a smart mother who understands that she will soon die, decided to find a good husband to take care of her daughter since she wants her daughter to be taken care of ( i suspect they don't have relatives).

Or she is just twisted damaged woman who wants to have her first impregnator to reincarnate through her daughter.

Both choices are kind of of bad but the 1st choice is just a mother potentially creating a twisted web to have a good life for her daughter by finding a potential partner who will be good to her daughter. The other though? Twisted beyond compare.



As for his wife encouraging not to abort, while it's seen as creepy by us readers, you just need to check reddit and hear how some "friends" encourage paternity fraud or bad choices. Not to mention unlike some girls in real life who suggest to lie about paternity, she didn't say it, she sounded more pro-choice like person rather than paternity fraud (she omitted encouraging paternity fraud). Essentially leaving her with a choice to lie or not to lie, if she lies it's on her. In any case his sister is indeed a bad person.

They are clearly setting it up so the daughter will get with MC and have his child, I don't get the motivation though

This page is so ominous it's funny. The panel cuts right through the baby's head and there's a dead cycada below. Hmmm

Not only that, the note at the bottom of the first page (after the scan banner) says "Their last summer vacation at their parents..." and the "It's dangerous so fasten your seatbelt" line on page 15.

It's not the baby's fault. The fault's with the mother and the fuck-and-dump inseminator boss. Yes, he was the predator but she bears most of the blame because he apparently wasn't forceful or drug/get her drunk (that would probably have been shown) and she chose to allow it even if she wholeheartedly regretted it later. The husband being a cold, self-centered, neglectful ass is reason for divorce but not for cheating. The biggest betrayal (IMO) will be if she tries to pass it off as her husband's to make him raise another man's child (paternity fraud).
