Thanks for finishing the series up with actual translations too it was rough reading the tls up to this point.
Charming little series that the author seemed to develop as an allegorical depiction of the experience of working on writing stories, and the trials and turmoils that come with. From having your series criticized and destroyed, to working against such criticisms to grow stronger and finally highlighting the importance of hard work and effort over just ones talent.
Overall a very fun series with amusing characters and great art and a charming message all packaged up nicely.

With all the effort (pun intended) put in to making a "readable" translation, I'm surprised KS Group didn't finish it out. What would it have taken them, ten seconds to MTL it and a couple hours for some bad typesetting? I was enjoying this because the art was goofy, and every few panels the artist went fuckin' hard on something or other, but I made it to like chapter 6 and the TL was so awful. The very description of low effort. Felt like I was reading some rightdark shit or something. Lord.

If this was intended to be a short manga, I think it did fairly well.

But if it was axed—that’s unfortunate. It feels like the author had plans to show more, but the pacing was too fast and made everything feel rushed. There wasn’t enough time to connect with the characters, and we didn’t get to see their journey to revive Kyuu or what happened after they got back together.

Still, it’s a happy ending, so I’d probably give it a 7 or 8. I enjoyed reading it—the character designs were great, there was no harem, and it focused on a journey fueled by effort and a promise to fulfill. Cool fight scenes too.

That said, the translations leave a lot to be desired. I hope they improve in the future.
