As someone who speaks Japanese I just want to say while I normally dislike MTL (because most MTLers suck) I think the TLer here did a pretty good job, I wouldn't group this with most MTLs. Really as someone who translates and has a degree in Japanese the most important thing is actually a solid understanding of english when translating and a good understanding of Japanese/manga culture, pretty much anything else can be googled nowadays and as long as you put in the time and effort I think even an MTL can be done pretty well, as it appears has been done here (it also of course helps that this is a relatively simple manga about simple and wholesome things)
TLDR: I wouldn't consider this a bad scanlation and trust me if you DO consider it a bad scanlation then you have not seen the things that I have seen (don't get me started, especially with manhua scanlations)

You should see my TL in watari-kun (the one that has an anime this season) I always refer them to the official one instead because it was that terrible (I am glad it was nuked in the DMCA) haha granted I was just starting scanlating but still
