Shimamura is genuinely one of the most fascinating characters I’ve ever stumbled upon. For someone who is seemingly very disconnected from bonds, she is incredibly sensitive to them. If I was able to think like her I wonder how much I could’ve saved.
i agree but i jst hate that, her personality not what i imaged it would be.. i comed here after watching epsoid 1 of the anime and all what in my head is a simple yuri slice of life.. its not like i hate the devolping of the characters right now but its jst..

Having finished reading the LN, I love seeing it picture to life. I love reading Shimamura's train of thoughts—how she eventually accepts the love that Adachi is giving her and reciprocate it, trying her best to be better for both of them.

This is cool but why is chapter 47 listed as chapter 43 here? I also noticed this with the last one; the brazilian translation has completely different pages and their chapter 47 is this one. Am I missing something?

I have read the ENTIRE light novel series. Here you go:

No, there is not a jealous Shimamura arc. Shimamura does note that Adachi is very attractive, and even mentions that she should be the one worried about Adachi being stolen from her rather than the other way around. Despite that, Shimamura doesn’t genuinely express jealousy regarding Adachi in the LNs. However, Shimamura does later become more affectionate towards Adachi. I wouldn’t call it “overly affectionate”, but it is still definitely a big improvement over what’s been seen so far in the manga adaptation. The light novels reveal a lot more of Shimamura’s internal monologue, and in Shima monologues from later volumes, Shimamura expresses (very straightforwardly) how much she loves Adachi, how much she admires her good qualities, and how adorable she finds Adachi’s mannerisms to be. I would highly suggest reading the whole light novel to get the most out of AdaShima. Thanks for reading this, if you did.

Look, even if all we get is monologue chapters and what-if's from here on our, I think I'll still have fun reading all of it.
I’ve read the whole AdaShima light novel series, so I’m just letting you know that this manga chapter is actually the second-to-last chapter in Volume 7 of the LN. The last chapter of Volume 7 in the LN consists of a small collection of alternate universe (What-If) scenarios. One of those scenarios (the one where Adachi and Shimamura didn’t meet until they were adults), was adapted into this manga, but the other scenarios are most likely going to be skipped. Therefore, this chapter is likely the last chapter of Volume 7 in the manga adaptation, and next up will be the start of Volume 8. Here’s a gist of what Volume 8 will contain once it’s adapted into manga (I put the spoiler just to be safe):

There are zero What-If scenarios in Volume 8. However, there IS a big time skip, and it is canon. Volume 8 is essentially split between the main story and then a mini story that takes place after the time skip. Volume 8 is definitely very eventful, and the manga chapters will likely contain much less monologue than what’s seen in this chapter. In fact, Volume 8 in the light novel actually contains a pretty large amount of important dialogue between the characters, which is pretty refreshing. Overall, the upcoming manga adaptation for Volume 8 will not disappoint you. I can assure you that this series only gets better as it continues.
