This goes into some major spoiler territory: Read at your own risk
The novel explanation, sorta:
Many of the routes basically is just game Tiara and her love interest usually finding some way to defeat game Pride or were trying to escape but end up facing game Pride anyway. However, it isn't until a much later volume of the novel that reveals that game Tiara isn't a typical heroine. Game Tiara is able to use throwing knives, she's like deadly accurate with them, and in some routes it is her that kills game Pride, usually a knife to the heart. Other times it'll be the love interest that overcomes and kills game Pride like game Arthur.

Tiara that we know later learns how to use throwing knives when she wants to be helpful to Pride, and she was being secretive about it. And just like her game counterpart, she is very deadly with those throwing knives. This reveal happens when Pride helps stop an invasion and puts her life on the line alongside her kingdom's army, which reveals how powerful their army is because of all the special power users and how they developed tactics around them. Pride sees Tiara taking down enemy soldiers with her throwing knives where she remembers about game Tiara.
So in the current timeline
Val is the one who used to teach Tiara how to throw knives at it including Khemet

Just to add, if you remember at the end the anime where Tiara invites Val and his kids to eat cake. That is where Tiara is training in knife throwing. Also In this current manga chapter, we see Tiara's room is filled with pages of books on the wall. The reason its like this is because Tiara uses the pages as target practice for her knifes. Her throwing is crazy accurate that she can diffuse several bombs mid-air during a defensive war.

I approve of this development. Bad boy x gigachad girl boss is peak cinema.
I finally found my people!
What so his womanizer personality was actually real and not just rumors, so hes just trying to use her in this timeline?

Who exactly would be getting cucked here?

Leon? That poetic life of the party prince? Pfft nah..
him a womanizer was just a rumor so he cannot be cucked by that yet instead of pursuing Pride.. (he still admiring her from afar, unrequited) Leon is invested of becoming Val's friend, drinking buddy or henceforth.. being a wingman to Val's relationship with Pride.. he's eager to address Val's inner thoughts and feelings while Val lies to Leon everytime because he's all guarded up onto his secret obsession with Pride after this scene Val after meeting Leon and Leon's engagement has been dissolved (which Val couldn't believe Pride did that, he will be smiling around the corner for hearing that news.) then Val asks for a permission to his master Pride to get away and lie in front of Leon. But you'll see how they became friends with Val. Val's first impression on Leon was kinda annoyed and he does called him a lady killer for knowing all the nasty rumors.

Tiara was very skilled in that, I was so amazed for she is a fast learner. Khemet might also surpass her, he is also a great thrower too.

Translating yandere to obsessive doesn't really have the same impact. Yanderes are closer to Stans than simply being obsessive or possessive.

Uhm, quick question..
In the Game Timeline, which one of Tiara's love interests stabbed Pride in the heart? Or was it Tiara herself who slain the Last Boss Queen Pride? This one scratching my head for years..

Idk why they try so hard to play their words safe 😞 but indeed the dialogues are too formal and consensual.. but it's better than to have nothing.

It’s dependent on what Pride reveals actually, cause only she reveals certain info based on certain points about the game. Like she’ll mention that game Arthur is able to overpower and kill game Pride. And in the later reveal, there are love interest routes where Game Tiara is the one who reluctantly kills Game Pride with a throwing knife to the heart.

Since the setting is based on the otome game, besides the trauma each love interest went through in the game, not much is revealed about the details like if other love interests become allies of game Tiara and the chosen love interest. Or do they become reluctant enemies. And like other dating sims, there are bad endings, the normal endings and the true endings of those routes.

yes please, just throw the generic capture targets out the window for once and go for val instead. that would be a hilarious method to break the original plot.
Ofc it would be a bit unnecessary for Pride to end up either with one of those capture targets, she had no plans to take them but maybe one time, she will address those matters politically.. that would sort out the romance plot in a diplomatic way. Pride has a specific goal in mind other than that. Is to minimize her Villainess image or else she may gone crazy at the moment where she couldn't prevent her "inevitable" fate soon as when that happens.

Yet the original plot has already been thrown away due to the changes that Pride were made but it may bounce back if there are some scenarios or route that can never be changed easily and thus, if it wasn't for Val or something if Pride hasn't met him earlier.. none of these things can help her achieve to break those tragic canon events.

There is technically a mystery still left, due to a certain flashback of the Queen and how very young Pride was and how quiet she looked. A question came to my mind. What exactly sets off Game Pride to becoming the evil last boss Queen in the game?

There’s a bit of a weird disconnect between the selfish brat Pride was prior to the parents death and the evil little girl to evil woman she becomes. So it comes to my mind, did something happen to game Pride that is never mentioned in the game during the time frame when her parents died in the game?

Why I’m asking this is because later in the light novel we are somewhat introduced to most likely the main antagonist of the story. And he seems to have some kind of obsession with meeting with Pride. So it got me thinking, what if he might have had something to do with Game Pride going from spoiled selfish brat to evil incarnate.
