Well these one shots are from Xitter/Pixiv so technically he's an amateur but who knows, maybe some rich otaku will throw money at their fave artists to keep going with some series

Inspiration/motivation and Contracts / payment aside, i'm surprised some cancelled axed series from serialized authors aren't like "They axed me but fuck ___ company, i'm gonna release the five chapters i planned for free on my blog", unless there's an issue with the copyright despite being a creator. (as well as ruining their reputation within the industry/getting blacklisted as well)
