I understand why so many of us are upset at the MC being soft on whatever-her-name-is, but honestly we should've seen it coming from this type of work. Only JP works that don't treat female wrongdoing with a limp wrist are zama or revenge stories. If it's ever a story with a lighter tone, especially one that's as juvenile as this one, then this is what we'll get.

You couldn't even access their site if you wanted to, it just comes up a blank white page. And the chapters were here originally, but got taken down because Philia Scans has been banned for ToS violations.

It's really annoying with the chapter skip, this happens way to often.
If a chapter isn't posted here it's fair game to post it, I don't care if someone is posting it on their own (add infested, pay-walled) site.
There is just no way I'm going to use one of those sites, I'd rather go to a aggregator that allows adds to be blocked so I can read uninterrupted.
This way of posting contributes to de demise of mangadex, readers will move to other sources.
Which is a shame as mangadex is the best site there is when it comes to the reader.
For now, I'll leave this on my list as it might happen that the other group is starting to post the missing chapters.
At least until the next out of order chapter is released.

The WN has her realizing just how badly she fucked things up in her very first POV chapter. She resolves right then to turn things around and become the person she was toward Crest before she let jealousy blacken her heart. That she's able to deal with the harem situation around him now that it's reality rather than just something in her head is plenty to tell me she's well on her way to redemption.I swear if he ends up hooking up with that bitch of a girl then this series is PURE FUCKING TRASH

She got that in the manga too, way back in Chapter 3. Everyone just forgets anything that isn't given a recap every chapter, or views any slight against their favorite character as an irredeemable evil of the greatest order.

Unless she somehow gets destroyed and then MC saves her then its just a fucking Asshole of a FML who abused MC and gets away without any sort of punishment just because she's the FML
That "resolution" is not saying much. Dunno how it's portrayed in novel, but in the manga's, I assume condensed, version she was still an asshole "friend" to him at best before she became actively abusive. Reminder that this narcissistic cunt first became interested in him because he didn't immediately become her sycophant and tried to avoid her, and spent their mutual childhood in her own words trying to make him "interested in her." From there she then interpreted an abused child's submissiveness as "accepts(ing) me for who I am," and fell in love with that. It's always been about "me me me" with her.
You might say that she was also a child back then, and I'd agree, but until I see her at minimum face her narcissism I'm not inclined to think she's "grown" past that at all. As Minue pointed out during one of their confrontations, she doesn't "know anything about Crest," because in her narcissism she's never once properly looked at him. Until then I assume she's still trying to satisfy her vainglory through Crest's attention as is a narcissist's wont. All in all, we've upgraded from "flaming bag of poop on your doorstep" to "moldy forgotten leftover from the back of the fridge," and both of those things belong in one place~

I never said I wanted worse on her then his unrepentant brothers, I wanted her to actually get hit with consequences other then I feel bad about what I've done, like getting hurt physically OR being part of the harem but at the bottom level of importance aka not the first wife as they usually do, all in all is I just think she's as bad as MC's brothers and 1 single apology should NOT be enough to gain forgiveness, this isn't a she punched my shoulder and it hurt moment or a she stole my food that 1 time so now I'm mad moment, this was YEARS of mental abuse from her pushing MC into a corner along with what the rest of the evil group did to MC, people like that should not be given forgiveness so dam easily just because they are FML

Wow, I didn't know someone who is repentant for their shit abusive behavior with the intent to isolate the target and make said target dependent on themselves would feel satisfaction and accomplishment when remembering how successful their ploy to worsen their target's already poor relationship with their family was (see chapter 17 page 19/20 depending on the chapter version)! Silly me, how could I forget that~
This narcissistic cunt has only ever regretted that her actions drove Crest away from her, and nothing else. Even in chapter 3, she only regretted not being "more honest" at the last minute since now they "could never meet again." Not the, you know, emotional abuse and manipulation. So I'm less than inclined to believe whatever bs she spouts to others now without evidence of reflection and penance. I'd wager that if Crest reverted to being a good little whipping boy, then she'd very quickly revert to her previous behavior and begin to attempt to isolate him once again. The high likelihood of such a scenario coming to fruition, but this time instead being depicted as their "unique and quirky" relationship, fills me with disgust.
It still astounds me how this author bumbled into such an accurate depiction of how narcissists operate and how they will gaslight even themselves to satisfy their vanity.
